Worst experience from flipkart

Ordered a basic GREY color smartwatch from flipkart for a worth about 1.5k.. that too its a OBD (Open box delivery).while opening the box i was shocked, Received BLACK color watch and i have contacted flipkart customer service immediately, they simply said reject the delivery and place a new order😥.. 

Never expected this response from them.. And without second thought i have rejected the delivery.. My all offers combined with paytm got wasted. Now i need to wait for their refund😒😔

My second poor experience from flipkart in this month itself. Previous one was gillete razor which came without seal and a year old product with no return option. I HAVE REALLY LOST TRUST ON THEM.

Pls avoid flipkart especially in these festive season, else you need to adjust with whatever you received from them.

I think he was expecting for a replacement to be created by Flipkart themselves, which should be the ideal case

It will do more bad than good, as everyone will start sending emails which will result in spamming of his/her inbox. The open tickets situation at Flipkart is already unmanageable and unfortunately it's already too late to get the situation under control, unless some magic happens at Flipkart support team.

If anyone has a long pending issue (1 month +) with some high value order (like iPhones, Laptops), i can try to get it escalated internally, but overdoing will again do more bad than good

OBD is something good which came out of Flipkart but it looks flawed in some cases. Take this example:

If we ordered iPhone blue color but found iPhone black color during OBD (Open Box delivery), what should happen next?

1. We reject the package, replacement for blue color should be provided by Flipkart (without any extra charges/payment)

2. We accept the package thinking to create replacement later, as customer support is saying to place new order. But since OBD is accepted, replacement would be denied for sure.

3. We reject the package and order gets cancelled without replacement option. And customer care says we need to place fresh order again for blue color, means we might lose the offers/discounts from initial order.

Ideally, 1st option should be given, as offers etc would not be lost.

Will forward this to my friend working as Software Engineer at Flipkart so he can share this to their product managers

Online shopping app have to make then self more upgrade. Like Genuine seller and genuine products show in pic, make sure for customer satisfaction

Most likely not because as you mentioned, accepting open box delivery means you are acknowledging that correct product was delivered to you so obviously you can't raise a replacement request saying wrong product received. Of course if product is not working correctly & someone in customer care is kind enough to understand & raise a replacement request from their side then one can get replacement.

I would not have over emotioned if i have ordered the product without any payment offers. Because of their mistake i have lost all my cashback benefits along with this order, and i won't get it back again. Then what's the use of "open box delivery" without having a proper replacement channel. Either we need to accept whatever they give or else need to cancel it.. Is this a proper way of order fulfillment?

Yes absolutely i have saved myself without receiving any brick/soap instead of watch, but my purpose failed. I have expected at least they should take back the wrong item and despatch the right item, but simply they're asking us to cancel and place fresh order 😒

Both sites suck big time...Maybe I just "personally" had more worst experiences with Amazon mostly because of the return pickup guys of Amazon...I think Ekart guys don't do these much "nakhra" to pickup the returns...
