If no is invalid it should fail and be reversed, talk to them and tell them the no is invalid.

Reversal is possible only for recharge done at retailers/sim Card sellers. Mofo don’t do anything for recharge done by ourselves. They will tell it’s impossible. Little basterds. Now your money is gone. Don’t get headache over false promises.
You said number is not in service then the recharge might get failed after sometime so cross your fingers. May the can’t reverse the recharge company die soon.(all of them)

Dont know if its possible or not, but niki did reverse several of prepaid transactions in the last summer loot, so its all about their benefit, same for all operators, except BSNL (they dont have that mechanism for obvious reasons stuck_out_tongue Hence, cant reverse genuinely)

You said “the number is temporarily not is service”

temporary means many things….probably the person did not recharge the mandatory monthly recharge…probably the person’s account is suspended temporarily for verification issues…probably he/she is porting to another telecom…you never know for sure…

try trucaller and see if you can find any info…tweet them the number say that it’s non existent one and request them if they can share any info regarding that number…see what they say.

Not In Service Simply Means That O/G And I/G Is Barred While That Number Is Still Active. So By Doing The Recharge You Made That Number Active Again.

Forget The Recharge Amount Now.

Vodafone had refunded the recharge amount when I had recharged a wrong no. from Freecharge. It was only Rs 30 though.

Try calling the person with the number you recharged. 🙂 Explain them the situation. If they are good people then you gonna get your money back. I personally had to pay 550 and 629 on different occasions. Otherwise just say Belated Happy Diwali, and move on.
