Wrong amount deducted in HDFC CC autopay. Will i be charged interest ?

Today is due date for my Feb statement. I had set total amount payment option in autopay but it has deducted a lesser amount after considering the unbilled credits i made after the statement was generated.

so, 10000 was due as per statement. I paid 2000 via paytm. this 2k is showing under unbilled credits. my total due amount still shows same 10k. but autopay deducted only 8k after reducing the 2k from total due.

will i be charged now since total settlement is not done ?

you should not be charged. Since you have paid total 10k already

Thanks for the reply. yeah i hope there is no charge.

i am a bit skeptical about autopay considering the unbilled credit for previous statement. Will report to customer care if there is any charge. It is their system’s mistake if correct amount was not debited.
