@disclaimer you are becoming bank expert. I guess you are already.
All banks will come with wallets same they did first netbanking, core banking, Mobile banking & apps.
All those looking to loot, alas you won’t smell or taste any. Sooner or later all banks & wallets will streamline.
On lighter note a song dedicated to all loot guys

Just beginner, you and @DealSeeker are pros
Entry of Kotak Mahindra and Indusind awaited. Still, my favorite is PayZapp, least issues faced. Lime surely the worst.

Noticed that you have added it to the second post. That’s good enough. Otherwise, I would have requested a mod to make the edit.
By the way, if you have tried this app already, please do let us know about the withdrawal limits/restrictions.

Installed the application, but as I am not interested in recharge/billpay/GVs/Music using that app and it doesn’t have any virtual card or transfer to bank feature, haven’t added any money. Monthly limit 10000 and per transaction add cash limit 5000.

Thanks for mentioning the load limits.
By the way, the details include this: “Send and Receive Money – Instant and secure fund transfer to other YES PAY users or Bank Accounts. Option to request money from friends/contacts.”
Does “bank accounts” refer only to linked Yes Bank accounts?

Good catch!!
Details were hidden in app, it says transfer to a mobile number. If number already a yes pay user, it will be transferred to the wallet. Otherwise customer can register for wallet, or wait for 72 hours to enter bank details for transfer using IMPS.
Message if Freecharge go card used
We are sorry but the transaction failed.
Reason: Credit card used in Debit Card PG.

The App description on Playstore stated that money can be transferred to other bank accounts. I successfully registered my non-yesbank account in the app but could not figure out how to withdraw money to that account as there doesn’t seem to be an option to do so. Sent an email to yespay support. Will post an update after I hear from them.
EDiT: BTW, has anyone tried the JioMoney app? I installed it and signed up. There is an option to load money via CC and withdraw money to a bank account, but haven’t really tried to do so yet.

FAQ says option to register bank account will be available only after 72 hours, and only if the recipient is not having yes pay account.

Are we talking about the same thing here? I am talking about registering/adding a bank account to yespay app to withdraw money from wallet and I added my other bank account to yespay wallet immediately after creating yespay account.
As for the item from the FAQ that you mentioned, seems like you are talking about sending money to another mobile no. which is not yet registered for a yespay account.

OK. Even I can’t find any such option.

You can add bank account to yespay but there doesn’t seem to be a way to transfer money to that account. I wonder whats the use of adding a bank account to the wallet.

1. Half cooked app! Yes Pay doesn’t accept credit cards, it doesn’t have ‘send to bank’ facility either. These features are must for seamless user experience. Though its UI is good & refreshing.
2. Poor customer service. Lodged a complain but got no reply. During the time of recharge I selected the network provider as idea, but automatically its been changed to reliance. And 1st time its show me that the recharge was failed, then successful. Don’t know how they recharged. They just stole my bucks. Worst wallet. Got no response from customer care.
3. Needs lot of improvisation Very easy and simple to use, loading wallet is very quick and hassle free. But can’t use this app on major apps like bookmyshow etc.. U cannot transfer money to your own yes bank account. Now I feel its an app just to make ur phone and dth recharges..
4. No option for money add by credit card There is no option for money add by credit card and no option for money transfer to bank account. Its a useless wallet.

Yes, missing basic requirements. Other features will improve with time, but I don’t think they will allow loading using credit card.
I am a Yes Bank customer lured by their 6% interest rate offer.
And I can vouch for them being novice when it comes to technology as compared to HDFC or ICICI even SBI.
Their netbanking interface is primitive and so is their uselss app looks like DOS based.
So do not keep high hopes with this one.
Better try Digibank wallet (or even account) or Sloknit for now.
