So this is the second time they declined my application even through I hold HDFC, AXIS and SBI credit card. I am not sure on what basis they declined me, when I asked them through email they said it was declined due to internal policy.
First time when Amazon showed me this card banner, it specifically mentioned “No income document required” so I applied it and completed my application, during application process, it didn’t ask me upload income or ITR document and application was done only with Video KYC and then after 4 days it was declined.
After waiting 6 months, amazon again showed me banner to get card in 30 minutes so I applied again and this time it asked me upload income document or ITR so I uploaded my latest ITR with computation and completed video KYC but after 3 days it was declined again. Not goin to try on third time seriously but I am not sure what is there criteria to approve application?
PS: I have no relationship with ICICI bank and I am self employee.

Same here, have HDFC and AXIS Bank CC, 800+ CIBIL, Adequate ITR, also having the Savings account with ICICI from past 13 years and have closed 2 loans with timely payment, dont know on what basis they declined my APAY CC application! Have been asked to apply after 6 months, lets see
P.S: Wierd thing is, HDFC is ready to give me 4.5Lacs jumbo loan! where my limit is just 1.8Lacs with them and I am not eligible for limit enhancement as of now!!! So I guess its all luck! My jobless friend got Amazon icici CC a month ago…

u should have applied for icici platinum cc first (itr above 4.80 lacs ) after one bill generation apply for amazon pay, it doesnt matter how many other bank cards u hold...

Oh so even ICICI account holders are not able to get this card. I thought getting this card would be the easiest among other cards as it is co-branded card. I am not going to open saving account or FD just to get this card. I will settle with Ace card with 2% cb on amazon.

Applied yesterday night, video kyc done. Today morning approved. Just 772 cibill score & no relationship with ICICI. Having hdfc mileniya, Flipkart axis , SBI Yes bank, RBL card. 2 closed personal loan account.

I’m self employed , no prior relationship with ICICI, 790+ Credit score while applying. Got the card with 1.8lakh limit.
I’ve heard from a friend who knows people working in ICICI and they apparently told him the decision is made by both ICICI and Amazon so if either of them think its not worth to give u the card they will not approve it for you. I’ve bought stuff worth 2lakh in past 1 year and got approved, my brother almost same credit score got rejected only difference is he barely buys stuff on Amazon(around 10k in last 1 year) .

Today scheduled kyc appointment but no one come for kyc and no one contact me, any info regarding this matter
