17.03.38 was the last version for yt vanced. It was supposed to work for another year but Google has started to make this version defunct gradually. Out of the popular alternatives like revanced, newpipe etc. Which one is similar to vanced in terms of looks and functionality? And which one has support for extensions like return dislike button, skip sponsor videos etc.?

A simple adblock works very well.

Nothing of that sort, the problem is with microg on some Google accounts.
Try logout login , or uninstall and reinstall of microg

I purchased lifetime version of adguard when they're offering it for around 600-700 rs during black friday. Worthy purchase.

I think brave browser alone also can do the work for you.
Though I've not used brave browser since a long time but I think it still works.
And on windows/chrome ublock origin is also pretty fine, lite on memory and free.
But adguard is a paid software. I use it just because I got it for a very low price.
