1. INFLATED MRPs : Yes -- for one product lets say Jeera - zepto has got many brands .. Most of them are inflated MRPs. I have devised a method to filter and purchase products from zepto - only if is 50% or more discount. With this - I get the product for its near - exact value compared to market value.

2. PERIODIC DISCOUNTS -- Zepto periodically comes with discounts on grocery products - which have expiry date close to 2-3 months .. Specially their own brand grocery product - Brand name - "Good daily".
3. SUPPORT: I have not encountered problems with zepto - complaints raised on twitter DM - gets solved in a day or two. Though their customer care are a bit slow.
4. PROMOTIONAL CREDITS: Zepto periodically credits money in zepto wallet 40, 50, 100 - which has an expiry of 1-3 days random.
5. Zepto SUPERSAVER : Recently zepto has come up with - 2 modes to order to cater customer with higher amount orders. Min Order : 999rs .. You will approximately save - 80-100 rs on 1000 rs order - purchase value of a product on supersaver mode - is 5-10% discounted.
6. Zepto PASS : With zepto Pass you get free delivery + 5-10% additional discount on orders above 299
NOTE: i use zepto only for for small orders. No bulk orders

I have been using Swiggy, BB and Zepto for 4 years.
All of them use similar strategies.
Usually the packed products from various brands which are actually available at MRP at local store, are available at MRP or lesser price. They cannot inflate prices of same.
In case of loose products, it's like general sabji market. You will find some products cheaper some other vendor and expensive at some other.
But it hardly makes any difference.
On the other hand we get convenience of these products getting delivered at our home. Ofcourse you will have to pay a little for that.

There is reward for not shopping and no reward for shopping regularly. 
The problem with zepto is either super high discounts including free zepto cash or inflated pricings along with cherry on top surge fee. Instant orders mostly settle around Rs.100-200 because that is the normally a consumer spend when out to buy for small instant shopping so i take is as 10%handling fee.

Zepto Pass too come at discounted rates at times. If not used for a month they will provide a month pass for 1 ₹, else they charge ₹19 or ₹ 39.
We also get discounts on different credit cards if payment is made through specific bank credit cards.
The most absurd is the surge fee and busy message when ordering is not allowed for a time period.

Try always checking with different mobile number the prices are differ from one mobile phone a different price and from another mobile phone a different price so the prices are not constant it differs on how you order and what is your frequent items are getting delivered
