Zomato Pro Membership Worthit ??

The previous benefit of BOGO was atleast worth something. Now they give crappy 20% extra off with exorbitant delivery fees. Not worth paying for.

And for specific participating restaurants which can be revoked at any time…

I had the same doubt as well, if there are any other dimers who can weigh in…

I still don’t know how Zomato is surviving.

Their business model is completely different… lol … People think their model is about delivering food… I think it’s about DATA !!!

Zomato other Food Delivery Apps know exactly what demographic orders what from where and when and why….. The Food delivery is just tips, the core is about the data that goes into it.. it’s about Consulting… If I’m a new restaurateur and planning to open a restaurant, I will get data backed decisions on what type of restaurant to start, what all cuisines, what specific food types in the cuisine etc… Either for a fee or for a share of the profits.. (I’m speculating all of this)

So hypothetically, in Connaught place, people regularly buy Gobi Paratha from 4-7 PM every day… if I know this info, I can deliver some really classy Gobi parathas with a lot of butter and keep a cloud kitchen open for only those hours.. Data backed decisions will help my margin..

The reviews provide a major business model as well, where a lot of people can “influence” a restaurants numbers, not necessarily based on taste and budget…but on ratings..

by this zomato pro they want to stop you from looting zomato…those who are looting….they wont buy pro as it is for one account…

Go for Dineout membership, recently used them at various restaurants. Add on – you can use them on both food and drinks.

Zomato pro is worthless. Might come in use rarely if order value exceeds 500. For me only in 2 instances out of 30+ orders, zomato pro showed less price than swiggy.

Today i got free food not because i had pro…its just because i opted for ontime delivery or free. And order came late.
