Although above 1k, Soundmagic E10C or its BT version is very good. With a specific Viper DDC you can get a flat response curve as well. Usually on sale. I had got mine 2 years back for 1.3k.

Yes. It was on sale for Rs 1699. With cashback and GVs bought at 10% discount it came to 1.3k.
I don’t use it much though as I prefer circum-aural headphones ( Superlux HD681 EVO, best 2.1k I have ever invested, paid €3 for a Viper DDC as well ) . Listening to music outdoors is not my cup of tea. In a quiet, dark room is how I like it. Can’t use speakers after midnight unfortunately!

Not sounding flat, not having low volume and durability is the only expectation from me.

Its for my father.

Most headphones don’t deliver neutral sound. Either biased towards lows/highs, infrequently mids. Consequently boomy bass, shrill highs. It should also help with ear fatigue associated with long listening periods esp. at higher volumes. A flat frequency response curve is ideal. But such audiophile-grade ones are very expensive.
Viper4Android is dedicated to improving audio. A DDC file is a headphone specific config that aims to modulate the sound signature to be as close to a flat response curve as possible by boosting the mids, lowering the treble for instance. Its different from using an Equalizer.
A DDC file can be generated for free using openly available tools if one has the patience. Or pay the €3 to the current maintainer of Viper4A.
Also the frequency response curve of the headphones must be available somewhere. Popular ones can be found in sites reviewing headphones.
