any suggestions in non andriod/ related OS

Okay with buying other OS. tried Nokia X functions but did not find it too convinient.

not buying for self, hence need to be doubly sure. anything in any other OS?
budget can stretch to 10k if features worth it, but need good display (preferably non glare)

i mean not compulsory that it has to be google or any toned down version of google.

even windows or firefox will do.

the screen size (clarity) and non glare (visibility under sunlight) requirement is from the end-user. [i am not the end user]

Even i am waiting to buy a phone under 10k for faltu purpose/standby and i want to root it for sure.. So far i have shortlisted the below options..
1. honor holly
2. YU
3. Mi note 3g/4g

And the specs of Yu undoubtedly beats em all.. As i am using 3Gb ram now, using a phone with 2gb ram wont be much harassment i Guess.. So keeping it on priority..
As far as os is concerned, Android has no comparison again.. ( Dont wanna get into ios/android argument as there are die-hard apple fans, but i guess android makes the things convenient for the user even when its not rooted )

Toh abhi toh i am in for Yu only, as i am in no rush, i can wait for its launch..

thanks for these pointers Bro.
Yes i to would rather avoid trash talk.

User looking at real (in the moment) things like sometimes urgent file transfers, so not crazy for iOS.. i think bluetooth still works best in times of need.
[if data networks are there then e-mail or messaging apps of-course are suited]

and again since he already using Microsoft cloud, the use of MS Office on device was the reason I co-opted Windows as an option.

Just need to be assured that the respective (Brand) names have some credible support network in times of need.

Yes, RAM matters.

Currently, user is on Nokia X6 and not actively looking for change (but being manipulated by us to upgrade soon)

edit: for not too advanced usage will Asus’s phone or a Xiaomi Note not do? I mean will Millet 4 be really adding much in the normal daily use features department?

thanks. 525 535 are both on our radar too

let Microsoft keep fidgeting with price points by piggy-backing limited time offers and God be willing something comes up.
