Bajaj bikes start giving problems after 4-5 years
I would suggest go for yamaha, suzuki or honda
Check AutoCar India YouTube channel bro.
They do reviews of some bikes too.
They are good at it and you can trust them.
So rakshith, see if you can get An apache in your budget. I rode the latest one, and the driving comfort is awesome, even better than the fzs, and mileage is on higher side , again all the experiences are subjective and changes from person to person, but do give a test drive of it and see how you feel.
But what humans/dimers are we if we won’t recommend a deal for you, so here you go,
Here is the story and approx calculations.
Mr. A purchased a second hand yamaha szr for around 30k. Drove it for 2-4 years and sold it off for around 27k. Total repair cost in these time is 10k or at max 15k.
Mr.B purchased a brand new fzs for 80-90k, at around same time, no major repairs except usual wear and tear, maybe around 10k. Now, How much would this bike get in second hand market.. Around 40-50k. Cost of ownership is approximately 40-50k for these years for new bike, whereas for a second hand bike despite all those repairs, it will be 20-30 k
I know getting a new bike is an emotion
So choose as per your requirements and needs,
See the new fz as well as the new apache, if they fit in your budget, go for a test drive and then decide.
What will be the distance that you will be covering with it?
Approx 80-100km
Look for comfort first and then after-sales.
And then consider the second-hand market price for smooth sell after 3-5 years
Buy Apache RTR 160 4V. Its excellent for your needs. Comfortable seating position, decent mileage (45 kmpl), good performance and engine is the best yet at this CC from TVS.
Never drive any bike rashly like those idiots in traffic do. All engines will die prematurely after a few years of rash driving.
Go for Hornet, it gives 45 – 50 milege and less maintenence
Increase some amount…Nd go for Pulsar 220F
