Raksha Bandhan starts with tying a Rakhi thread on the brother’s wrist by the sister. Rakhis are a symbol of love and affection of sisters for their dearest brothers. Brothers likewise understands the true meaning of rakhi and by extending his wrist forward, he promises to protect her from all hardships of life. Sisters also apply kumkum powder on the forehead of their brother and perform aarti before him for showering their brothers with blessings of god. In other words, Raksha Bandhan is a synonym of love and feelings that is shared by siblings.

After my dad expired,My brother was the one,who put his everything into my marriage,worked in double shifts,so that he could save some money for wedding…

Never I had to ask anything from my brother,before I could say,everything was there in front of my eyes!!
Instead of going out with his friends,he used to take me out,as I felt alone after papa’s death…

I always respect him,as he knows the value of relationships!

The best time was when I saw him crying at my wedding,like anything..
Broken he was,when I left home…Love him a lot!

Rakshabandhan means a lot to us…as we stay in different cities,we dont get to meet much,but Rakshabandhan is one day,when we meet for the ceremony,no matter how busy we both are!

This day really means a lot to us!

After my marriage, on my first rakshabandhan, I am going at my home for rakhi celebration. My family is very happy when i will go there with my husband. But you know it is very excellent surprice for me, when my brother give me gift as white gold ring..!!!!!!!!!!!! It is really excellent. I can’t forgot that day..!!!!
