A address change request is pending since a month now , what to do ?

This is regarding address chnagein my DL using my Adhaar address .

I filled my all details at parivahan.gov.in and made the payment(challan) there of rupees 379 /-

Next day I went to the specified RTO office with my Adhaar card for adress change on my DL.

the person on the designated counter took pre-printed forms and adhaar copy and return it to me with a cash reciept of 88 rupees for issuing a new smart driving license . he is said all done .

now is has been more than a month , I did not receive my new DL . How many days they normally take for a simple address change . how can I know if my address updated or not from parivahan.gov.in ?

Status showing :SCRUTINY- (Document Verification) at MVI counter is under processing .

To save time & anguish, take help of any agent outside RTO office. RTO staff are not used to handling online applications themselves alone. There was a time, not to long ago that all documentation/filing was maintained outside the RTO offices by the agents. No file moves there without greasing the palms of agents /staff.
Normally I’m against giving any bribery advice, but for RTO offices avoid any DIY experiment.
