While Riding a vehicle in India it’s compulsory to carry this three things.
.
1) Valid physical driving license/Digilocker soft copy
2) Physical RC book / Digilocker soft copy
3) Active original PUC certificate
4) Active Insurance papers original
SOURCE: google , quora , youtube ..

.
.
.

Now Query is ………..
.
I found somewhere that if we don’t carry any/all of that 4 documents at the time while police check , we can submit those things within 48 hours to nearest police station .
.

I don’t have any valid proof to prove that .
If some Law/LLM/Banking Aspirant/knowledgeable person can provide the articles of that here .
can helpful for all .

Thanks
Please point out grammar mistakes if any

You don’t need to add “well” with knowledge person
Correct sentence would be knowledgeable person stuck_out_tongue
Which i am not since i have no idea about that 48 hours thing!!

And all that I missed accidentally

I did not learn driving in india or do any test etc.. I went to the office and they gave me an indian license.. So I am only familiar with general international driving license rules. I also hate driving here and only do if I don’t have a choice.

thanks for letting me know.. But whats an RC book and what is PUC? I noticed Indians are big on alphabets.. I often hear of a lot of them but have no idea what it all means.

RC= Registration Certificate.
PUC= Pollution Under Control.

Registration Certificate(RC) is an official document for the vehicle.
Contains owner name , vehicle registration date , chassis no. , fitness upto , etc…
Which we receive with new vehicle delivery .

Pollution under control(PUC) Is a certificate . And you can understand use by its name . Have to renew in every  6 month by paying nominal charges at puc centers

In no other country do they require original ownership documents.. Since possession of that means you own the car even if the name on it is of someone else.
Leaving it in the car would mean someone else would be driving your car around very soon.. and all your cars will get broken into for sure sooner or later..

And every time we have to do pollution test before changing ownership or moving etc but never done that here.

Nope.
PUC=100
RC=500
For 3/4 wheelers and for 2 wheelers DL=min 100 depending upon mood of excellent OFFICERS
Edit :- Comment is intended as humor of bribe to RT police if u don’t have these documents

Then may be its diffrent by state transport ministrys
For PUC i pay
40rs. For 2 wheeler
100rs. For 4 wheeler
And its free from any government officer interactions . So no need to go under table .
I don’t remember RC charges , as its once for vehicle life time . But its around 500.

Even if the answer to your query is big ‘S’, I am sure these police won’t be aware of it.
No point in arguing with brainless fat egotists on road.
Simple thing is to carry docs – or pay 100/200 fine.
Note: RTO officer can answer your query properly. Or tweet to Gadkari office

I think some officers may still ask you for original papers and ask you not show mobile photos. smiley yes we know didgilkcker copies are valid but what about them.

Based on my experience in bengaluru,
digital photos are perfectly fine.
