Well after a year of using Crownit, my father asked me to redeem his earnings which he accumulated after 1.5 years buying BigBazaar vouchers.

To my surprise I found zero crowns in his account….
All his earnings were made zero

I mailed these guys and here is their reply…

Hope you are doing well!

We would like to inform you that everything comes with an expiry date and everything does requires proper maintenance.

Since, you were away for 180 days, as our policy your account has been made dormant.

You can always start afresh & enjoy bigger and better rewards at Crownit.

Anticipating your patience and understanding in the said regard.

They dont message about upcoming expiry dates, yesterday when I installed their app they showed that my 10 crowns had expired. How many crowns did you have?

This is my dad’s account, Rs.500 around

All his efforts wasted for nothing

Although this is my mistake that I never read their dubious terms but I think their policy is worst.

Crowns expire in 2 years

If you don’t use their app for six months, your account would be marked dormant and your earnings would be made nil after then..

Recently without any intimation/notice, they changed value of 1 crown from ₹1 to ₹0.5

I for one feel that they are actually bit lineant as compared to other apps which expire credits within a month also.

But yes, they need to be upfront about expiry. Currently the info presented to the user is minimal

Their expiry is good with two years but their policy that if you do not use crownit for six months straight, you’ll loose all your credits as the account would be marked dormant isn’t user friendly

Consider my father’s case, he hardly use these type of apps however after using this app for almost 1+ year, all his points/cash were marked nil…

All his efforts purchasing BigBazaar vouchers from crown.it for meagre 5% discount and then using at BB wasted

He would have used cash/card instead of this shit app that i recommended…
