Do you know that average individual footprint has increased to a extend that his/her needs require approx 1.6 earth.Global footprint network which calculates earth overshoot day has noticed a trend that the overshoot day is falling every year earlier. In 2018 it fell on early August.
you can check your ecological footprint here:
http://www.footprintcalculat...g/

why I mentioned above?
Today on 30th March is celebrated every year as Earth hour.switch of your lights between 8:30 to 9:30 PM to do little to minimize your ecological footprint.switch off your gadgets and LEDs to participate on individual scale…it is not much but all the minimum contribution will be a step for environment.

know about earth hour here:

No government is ever concerned about environment in our country
The best we can do is live our lives in a sustainable way

True…but any sustainable approach begins at individual effort level.

The difference between occasional avoiding red meat (or any other meat) for vegetable protein turn out to be huge having of water and tons of co2 prevented from forming.

Share cab (public transport) vs private vehicle.

Using efficient appliances

Etc.

India has the highest vegetarian eaters in the world, still we are worst in terms of environment conservation (just behind capitalists like USA and UK)

Much agreed bro. We a group of 50+ people continuously observing this for years on our own.

I agree on the awareness part, govt should take proper initiatives to aware people (for such cases) like they always do the poll campaigns. Chunaavi badal hate to sahi..

The only easiest thing we can do is “consume these natural scarce products to our needs at very minimum level” by not wasting it !
Also teach our next generation that how to avoid wasting every natural resources !
Now we need to preserve rather than producing !
