The New IOS and Android update of the Aarogya Setu app is very helpful and soon it’s also available for e-pass! let’s see what is the use of this e-pass and how to get it. it is still on coming soon. might be useful after 20th April.

A reason of less infection in India is also maybe because of the relatively younger Indian population…Most people dying in US & Europe are aged above 60…

Plus higher temperature in India than US & European countries & BCG vaccination also can be the lower rate of infection in India…These are the same reasons why Pak, Bangladesh, Nepal & some African countries also have almost the same mortality rate as India…
Lockdown alone can not ensure that India escape this pandemic. Testing has to happen much more, particularly in vulnerable areas like slums where people have less resources and less scope for social distancing. That way we can prevent a big tragedy from happening. I believe lockdown is more for buying out time to ensure that hospitals are having more resources when cases start to rise after lockdown. Coming to Aragoya setu app, I believe we should install it, there are so many apps we have which are already stealing our data and using it for their profit. At least here it is for us. Those who feel that bluetooth has to be turned on full time and consumes battery, I have not switched off wifi, bluetooth or location even once in past 12 years of my smartphone usage and typically I get a day of battery life which is reasonable. I have always used apple or samsung flagship models so probably that might have helped with better battery management.

Agree there is a relation between test and no of positive cases. But if you see no of deaths in developed countries and in India it is very less. Some deaths can remain hidden but not on such large scale when comparing to population. No one will be able to hide if deaths happen on such large scale like in USA or Italy. There will be protest around country if so many deaths happen.
Regarding testing, testing kits are not being produced locally. Some companies have started making it. Others arrived from China very late because of strict regulation by Chinese government. Now only India received rapid testing kits. More to arrived in coming weeks. Then only picture will be cleared.
