Voltas is not a bad brand ,its just ok for the price, some of my relatives have it and they are satisfied with it .Many people underrate still its ok ,but still if you can expand the budget then do so because there are more brands with better build quality and service .

Premium brands -
Carrier ,Mitsubishi ,Daikin ,Hitachi ,Bluestar ,O General ,Whirlpool

Decent /Ok brands-
Panasonic, MarQ ,Voltas, Onida, Haier

I suggest you inverter AC ,why ?
Because it consumes less energy .its very smooth in operation and makes less noise

Attaching a link so you can know more about it -
https://www.bijlibachao.com/air-conditioners/wh...

About the Dual and Triple you can read this and decide on your own -
https://www.bijlibachao.com/air-conditioner-ac/...

Also try to buy an AC with copper condensor instead of Aluminum Condensor ,they are better but a lil bit more costly
Read about it here https://www.bijlibachao.com/air-conditioners/ai...

Also do check energy consumption on each AC because after purchasing AC ,its the bill which matters the most
You can take help of various energy calculators on the internet they will give you an estimate.Just like this one -
https://www.lg.com/in/support/energy-consumptio...

Do read this too – https://www.bijlibachao.com/air-conditioners/ai...

See the features of the AC ,compare and buy the one best in price.

I personally suggest you to go for Carrier they have really good service and are very responsive just a personal suggestion other brands i have mentioned here are good too ,all of them provide good service especially Daikin ,you can go for them if your budget is allowing to .They are expensive though.

Dont forget to compare online and offline prices sometimes you get cheaper price in Online stores too ( thats what happened with me) ,if you can wait try to buy on Summer Sale Flipkart usually comes up with a Sale between May-June-July.

more the stars ,lesser the electricity bills

@iNvEsTor

  • LG or Samsung both are good. I would not recommend Voltas, as their hardware is mostly imported from China. It is not the case with LG or Samsung, they invest decent resources in designing the stuff.
  • Go for inverter type ac; power savings, efficient operation, more controls/sensors
  • ACs usually have 3 main rotating motors. 1. Compressor, 2. Condenser fan 3. Blower fan inside home.As the number of inverters increase, these motors are converted to BLDC/PMSM type where they are energy efficient. So a double inverter is likely where compressor and blower fan are bldc type and condenser fan is standard induction motor. The combination could be any, it is up to manufacturer’s discretion. A tripe inverter is where all the main motors are all bldc/pmsm type.

Cant much comment about bluestar. I don’t know what goes inside. But the brand is trusted with its operations spread across

In my opinion buy Daikin AC using it from more than 6 years and still working like a charm after regular service and Hitachi is also a good option. If u are low on budget go for Lloyd AC they are light on pocket and good in performance

Bro, bluestar is best in medium range.

Medium range – Bluestar, Daikin, Hitachi, Mitsubishi, Lg, Samsung

Premium – Mitsubishi Heavy, O general

Cheaper – Voltas, Lloyds, Carrier, Panasonic,

Lower Range – Sharp, Onida and all other brands.

Do consider your consumption while going for inverter or non inverter AC. You may save 4-5k by choosing non inverter AC.

So if you are buying for spare room then buy non inverter and cheaper range.
If you are buying for high consumption then go for medium or premium range inverter.

Bluestar gets more brownie points as being Indian brand. Don’t think that is their only specialty, their blue fin coating is patented and works wonders. Quality wise there is no compromise.

Mitsubishi heavy duty and O General are the premium brands.

Daikin, LG, Samsung would be next. Hitachi failure rate is too high
I would prefer LG over Samsung (personal choice)

…Buy 5 star…initially it costs slightly more but in 3 -5 years it will save you money…

…Buy inverter ac…

…regarding dual or triple inverters ….fancy terms…your guess is as good as mine…

….Performance of Ac brands is like performance of formula 1 car drivers….the last one is just 3% worst than first….

…Happy buying….
