2G is still used in POS machines/ EDC Machines.
So, i think its hard.
They shut down 3G in Assam few months back. Its only 2G+4G now for Kolkata also.
So now if you are buying a new handset, you need to check that it supports Band 3, Band 5, Band 40 and Band 8.
But how many 4G handsets in India support Band 8?
Their 4g network is so horrible and weak
Bsnl started it much earlier around 3 months earlier in my city now.
When is Chortel completely Shutting down.
I think that will be the grandest news.
loose talk like this doesn’t help anyone.
They played the horrible MTN gamble in West and Central Africa.
The debt and credit taken for those was riduculously unsustainable.
They learnt their lesson there
sold back most of it
and hete
are concentrating on enterprise business to drive them in future
Nobody in telecom field, at-least in India, is interested to take and run fake priced licences of voice GSM.
even the push for VAS (value added services) doesn’t even justify total costs of running a network across thosands of kilometres.
and who aren’t doing stealing?
even Jio’s balance sheet will only turn green from vas or other operations like e-commerce, broadband related media apps that sell their tv channels and movie/TV shows

thanks for “judging”
not a hater.but don’t expect others to understand that always
is the only “judgment” that matters.
