heard this kind of news in past also of airtel being in loss
Because of high infrastructure costs, profits and losses depend mostly on what the shareholders think should be done. If shareholders are willing to accept losses then companies will load the kitchen sink into short term hits and clear the books and they have a great excuse right now. I would be weary of any profit or loss statements without thoroughly looking at the numbers. The worlds most expensive company amazon worth over a TRILLION (cant even count that many zeros) also loses money.
Interesting comments, but it’s a stark contrast to what the expectation was prior to JIO is evident atleast for short to medium term prospects of BHARTI wasn’t expected at all, having said that still JIO IS YET TO MONETISE ITS ASSETS or for that matter NETWORK EFFECT is still to play out
every qoq and yoy they r posting losses…
