It would be great to have some real-life reviews. X96 mini TV BOX (2 GB) vs Tanix Tx3 (2 GB).
H96 MX is another option but I don’t know how much custom may charge so chances of double price?

For entry level Android box my money is on tanix tx3 mini… Though it lacks Bluetooth but does not have custom ui… And performance is more than decent for the price. If you can cope up with custom ui then for entry level box you can buy its upgraded version tanix tx3 max with Bluetooth… These have Android 7.1
For mid range tanix tx5 max is a good buy with with amlogic cpu and ddr4 ram and 32 gb storage, for some reason no 64 gb version for it as of now… It comes with Android 8.1
Need higher storage – tanix tx6 is the box with 4gb ddr3 ram and 64 gb storage… All have similar functions… Tanix tx6 has Android 9. This has Allwinner cpu that heats a bit more than Amlogic.
PS: all of these boxes are pretty similar in UI and general performance… RAM, storage etc matters but not much for regular use unless you install many apps and play games.. Only tx3 mini has default android ui…
I have just purchased this box (4GB RAM 64GB ROM) for Rs. 2690. I also added a wireless keyboard for Rs. 300 extra. This is my 4th Android TV Box & I was comparing all models with 4GB RAM for last month. This one has the best price with good hardware. I was actually looking for Tanix TX6, which is Rs. 200 to 300 more costly. Tanix is good for software update and has inbuilt Kodi with almost all plugins. However, TX6 has been plagued with WiFi and audio-visual sync issues. Though software update will fix it, I didn’t want to take risk.

Do these custom Android os boxes (without Android TV os) run HD content on Netflix, Amazon etc
Guys, I am a complete newbie in android tv box comparison. Can you please guide me, what all can be wat hed with such boxes ? Do they support jio tv ? Will i be able to watch all tv channels for free ? I have 24mbps connection, is it sufficient ? Netflix and amazon prime is compatible with all ? Please help me

It does not have 3.5mm jack… Audio passes through hdmi, better buy tanix tx3 max with Bluetooth and route audio through Bluetooth to your speakers…
