. We can criticize government. But even an innocent act that would lift people’s spirit and community bonding is being ridiculed here. Sigh. I guess some just want to criticize everything for the sake of it. Like woke/edgy teens trying to be cool kinda thing

They are saying 31st March so that people will get mentally prepared.
Corona is not going anywhere…at least for a month from now.
If you hear that something is getting closed or lockdown, it will open only when coronavirus gets in control or probably in rare emergency situations.

Clapping is for showing gratitude for all the people who are helping in this emergency situation. Like doctors farmers etc.
Clapping from ones house was ok, but there were gatherings, bike rallies, cracker burstings on the road. There is no way to control madness, ppl will find novel ways to exhibit stupidity. Now i get a feeling that sooner or later this corona will catch us. Be prepared for the worst.
Some people are born stubborn and I feel sorry for them , due to lack of knowledge they continue to forecast their stupidity everywhere Let’s not bother about them….. appreciate those who took part and made this curfew a success

Role of government, public responsibility, healthcare system, discovery of vaccine and may be some unknown factors, all are equally important to stop spreading corona.
Today you are blaming government, next day you will blame healthcare, another day you will blame people.

Hundreds of people are dying in developed countries like Italy, spain, france…

This lockdown and a show of solidarity was indeed good. But the govt is seriously lacking the empathy for the weaker sections. I had hoped that Modiji would announce some unemployment allowance to all BPL and EMI consessions to small businesses, but nothing of these sorts announced. Media is blaming people rushing to catch a train, without realising that these people wont have enough savings to pay their rent or earn a meal. There was indeed an intention to score brownie political points, but its not wrong, because what he did was in the interest of the nation. As long as it is in the interst of nation, i dont have any complaint , even if BJP try to gain benefit from it
Guys be prepared for some more curfews, already in Ap & Telangana curfew is till 31st March. I request all to do Digital transactions, becoz Corona stay on currency also. And also please stay at home.

Clapping together at 5 pm would make such a “vibration” in the atmosphere that coronavirus will be destroyed.for better effect use thalis and ghanti etc..

In Europe, Governments are busy procuring masks, medical supplies and increasing manufacturing and purchase of ventilatos, ECMO machines. People are doing clapping and morale boosting on their own.
In India, Government is doing and encouraging the clapping and No protective equipment is available (even for doctors)
