Amazon account abuse warnings

How many of you have got amazon abuse warnings and have been blacklisted? I got a mail yesterday stating that I have asked for refund for too many orders and that my account is being reviewed. If you get that mail please don’t ignore as you will never get customer support in the future. I had like 100+ orders and had not even asked for a single refund, but yesterday when I asked them for a replacement for a 8gb pendrive which was not working within an hour I got a mail stating that your account is under review for policy abuse. I tried chatting with amazon customer care, but their response and behaviour with me was indifferent, and when I spoke to a supervisor he told on my face that they don’t support policy abusers. He told me I can stop shopping on amazon if I chose to as he can clearly see that my account is blacklisted
I escalated this to CIE (account specialist team) and they came back apologizing for the blunder they did. I replied back stating that was not done and I want all my open orders amounting to around 37k be closed and all my delivered orders amounting to approx 27k be taken back including a laptop. Got a call from someone claiming to be a manager and he has promised that he would look into the issue. So please take this seriously as your address will be blacklisted.
Enlighten on how you accumulated amount in your accounts… Were u actively participated in woohoo 100-50-30% offers lately? I was suspecting this right from the beginning.. Amazon has been keeping hawkish eye on customers especially dimers for 10-12 mths now…

Nopes no woohoo, everything paid through credit cards. I got a call from the manager, who told the specialist mistook the kirana now 200 cashback ( I had like at least 50 orders) to be refunds and blacklisted the account. He apologized for it and gave 2k gift card as an apology.

amazon is not liable for the source from where we get our gvs…
if we are exploiting woohoo then how can our amazon account get blocked ?
best woohoo can do is block our woohoo account if found any policy violation.

atleast something good came out of this confusion
The account specialist who blacklisted my account called me sometime back to apologize for the misunderstanding. Speaking to him I could make out few things.
He had clearly picked that I had 5 accounts (2 are without any transactions from a long time- created during early days of amazon for some loot I guess). But luckily other 2 accounts were in name of my cousin and my sister. I asked him if it violated their terms and he told multiple family and friends account are not an issue but multiple accounts can cause issues. My cousin’s account was always used on a different mobile with different network and never had my shipping address, not sure how he picked it (maybe sometime I had used the account on wifi)
He warned me not to avail coupons on multiple family accounts ( I had used those soulflower oil coupon on all 3 accounts).
He warned against adding multiple gift cards which was in the name of others.
Guess he wanted me to stop me to ask for further escalations and he was more accomodative in answering my questions regarding to policy violations. Mostly they don’t do this, as once I had spoken to an account specialist of amazon.com, wherein my account had violations for rejecting too many orders I had got shipped to India. But this agent told few such things but he avoided telling anything else. Now I am very much sure that they are just letting go of the policy violations to certain extent as they are in their early days.
Guess we should ask them to close our previous accounts which we used for any sort of loots or which we think might have used for loots. Remember if you are black listed their customer care will never bother helping you (experience of amazon.com and they even disconnect chat/call if you start insisting). Don’t ask for those 5-10rs price difference, reject orders after they are shipped. Amazon’s analytics’ are far far better than ebay or even flipkart, just that we have not realised their power.
Thanks for passing things here.
Simple 100+ orders n 30K+ order processing would absolutely cause these thing by the way how much PROFIT u made from this acc only??

Most of it were kirana now orders (those days of 200 gift card on 200 purchase) few PEs and other’s are/were genuine purchases for needy stuff. 30k+ order was because of a hp touchscreen lappy, a moto e2, drilling machine, computer components etc. Don’t keep track of profits made as I only purchase required stuff, unless its a PE.
@ranjithsai01 how did you contact the account specialist team(CIE) since I have around 68 cashback’s from kirana now offer … I migh tneed the contact just in case.
..

Why would you bother contacting them? I guess now they have realised that kirana now is a legit offer and is amazon’s way of subsidizing customers for their platform testing. You don’t have to contact them unless they send you a warning message, and in case you get a mail from cie-amazon you just need to reply back asking them to escalate this. They will look into this themselves and come back withing 2-3 hours. Make sure your account is clean, else move on and make a new account.

Indeed! 2K is nice for a little hassle, I hope it was ‘little’ Also since you have their apology too; the hassle should have been already healed

Amazon do value their customers and even more if the mistake is on their end.
Once i returned a product and asked them for refund before even shipping the product back and they gave me refund of around 2k right away.
Although their services have fallen down in quality over last few months.
Amazon has employed security and ethical hackers to trace and ban all amazon policy abusers

Too much of policy abuse could be the reason of fall in service quality

That I agree, I have twice got refund even before they picked up the products (4k once and 5k once). As both the phone and monitor were not in working condition, I had to get a refund as they couldn’t provide a replacement. But now I guess they are not doing it whatsoever as people might have abused this.

I have also heard amazon is sending recovery agents after looters.

They can’t take any legal action if its a pricing mistake or some multiple discounts being applied. They can take legal action only if they try to dupe amazon by sending back brick goods when they return products for replacement or refunds (not sure if amazon has started giving replacements- never had the necessity to, have got refunds couple of times though)
looks like has given too much discounts in sales so thier System is goan mad.
