Yeah that’s probably because of many COD cancellations
First they said the products can’t be delivered on cod at your pin code. I showed them that i have been ordering on COD on other accounts. After this they cried out the reason of cancellation of orders which they can’t prove as none of my orders was cancelled or returned. After that they stopped replying. Do you have any solution to this?
can be a logistics problem from Amazon side also. May be they do not have proper people to handle the cash/payment at that location.

Bcoz for same location, COD orders worked smooth and fine in other family accounts.
Even mine COD is grayed out. Although never plwced any COD

I think better to get it escalated and solved. And then do share the solution or problem insights.
I hv already escalated and waiting if it gets solved in 2 days, else once more i will ask them.
Anyways, availed COD cash load offer from other accounts and also added the aadhaar nos there to be safe, though not expecting anything serious (except add money 10k limit may be blocked w/o kyc). But GCs can always be added even then i guess…

If you happy placing order prepaid then why worried about COD.
You yourself saying that never placed COD order then why now ?

Temporary cod is disabled in your city…
It happened to me too, but figured out a solution.
The reason is because, you are trying to order who’s value is less than your Pay Balance.
So, make your cart value more than Pay Balance amount, and press check out through COD, then remove the items you don’t want before placing order.
Done. Your order will be in COD.
Thanks for the trick but it doesn’t works as it said cod not available at your pincodes (but it did work with other accounts) .
I don’t know why there was no reverts… When I raised this issue same days back…

Now a days Amazon cc become dump a**… And now they don’t mention Amazon executive name as well in their reverts… Seems outsourcing happened???

Normally, I do login and then click on Help (at bottom of page)→Browse help topics→Customer Service→Contact us => Gives option to select order etc, chat/email or call depending on their algorithm. Mostly, Chat is usable, though even email submitted here gets responded within 6-8 hrs typically.
In my view, this section is really well designed and functional.
