Ask them on chat and paste it here if their response is on the lines “product pricing change from time to time and what you have seen is the latest pricing and MRP doesn’t matter”. Else ask them for a complete refund or ask them to take it back.

You seriously think he is dumb enough to buy at MRP paying 40 extra for shipping? https://cdn2.desidime.com/assets/textile-editor/icon_toungueout.gif

I know they use those 100 promo GCs, but that tip might work for some other genuine buyer when all these promo GCs are gone. Also gives us a reason to know how amazon cc replies on chat. Because they had told me the exact line once and I couldn’t stop laughing. I had to ask the agent to connect to his supervisor who apologized (maybe he too was laughing) like 10 times.

No one can sell products at a rate higher than MRP. If they do so then it is illegal. Offline sellers sometimes do so with some items because you cannot book them without a bill. Online sellers always provide you a bill hence they must fear the law. Chat with cc and put your points properly. They must issue a refund.

Same thing happened with me by Snapdeal, where I had purchased cooking chocolate 500 gram @260 where actual price was 126. Immediately posted it on Twitter also call Snapdeal. They kept my call hold for 20-25 mins again n again. Total duration of call was 1 hrs. But thanks for Airtel offer which cost me rs.20 for 1 hrs call. N I got full refund plus cooking chocolate and rs.500 from Snapdeal as compensation for keeping my call on hold.

U don’t need it to do. They itself will do it if they don’t want to take action against seller. Then you have to make it big issue on Twitter by tagging as many people u can. And at last you will get compensation from Snapdeal

The complaints said, among other things, that packages did not mention MRP of the goods, the weight, details of manufacturing, packing dates, contact details of makers or suppliers, etc., Gupta stated.

Actually amazon now pricing is non-sense. I order stuff worth around 1100 on amazon now (bigbazaar seller) and I get a bill for around 950-960. I promptly scan and send it over mail for an easy refund which they do without even questioning.

I seen the lesser amount in bill as well, but never thought to ask about it to Amazon CC, Thanks for letting me know

Really? Actually that’s how amazon now works as those are only indicative prices on the app. In fact if it is reliance fresh they themselves refund it stating some reason, but with big bazaar we have to ask the CC to do it.

Thats why you need to connect to the physical work also. To be aware of the actual price of the same products in the market.
BTW, I buy the same pencils for my daughter @ Rs295 for 10×10 boxes from Metro Cash and Carry
