2 days before ordered real juices (4 packs) from amazon in 25 % discount. Today I received them and all are near expiry (20 days left)
I contacted amazon but they is no refund on food items.
amazon is actually selling stuff which doesnt get sold off the shelf .. and normally sold half the price in supermarkets .
seller is Primarc Pecan Retail . Today I saw one more thread with offer on same product .. avoid at any cost .

Sorry, forgot to tag. Dil pe mat lo
Off topic : to add to these amazon takes 7-15 days for delivery in tier 3 cities. My 60% orders are stuck, 3 weeks passed!
There is no return/replacement on food products but doesn’t mean they won’t refund in case of issues. I have got refund by just sending them a snapshot of the nearing expiry date and without a second mail they have given me a refund asking me to dispose off the product.
I tried that but they are still arguing that product is good until next days and you can consume it. so i guess it all depends on person who handles your request. .
But personally I think its waste of time to do all this and would avoid buying any food products from amazon.
I regret buying food online for simple reason , I cannot see the small fruit vendors and vegetable vendors and small kirana loose money
i prefer online as they pass on the vat,s.tax to govt, while lala kirana veg vendor dont pay any taxes vat & also they dont pay personal income tax. Eg: rs10 biscuit will be sold to u at mrp without any receipt, u paid vat which goes into lala pocket & he doesnt pay any income tax on profits. customer pays in full without any indirect return from govt in form of facilities. also online sellers give u discount!
no problem, just send them the snapshot of expiry date on email and they will refund you .
No worries .:-}
Similar thing happened to me too. I had bought “Ybarra Pure Olive Oil – 5 ltr Tin For Rs. 1299” from Amazon due the attractive deal price. Little did I know that I would be sent a product that is just 4 months away from expiry. The oil tin had MFG date as 16-Oct-2014 and expiry date as 16-Oct-2016. Since that day, I never buy grocery from Amazon especially when its sold at a good discount. Its sure shot old stock. I hope other dimers also take note of that and do not fall into such traps.
If i talk about my experience than i only received 5% items near to expiry or else all r brand new
grofers mumbai now picks up the fruits and vegies stuff from the goregaon store in suburbs… the prices are less than the other local stores being shown on the app
quality some times good sometimes too bad i return on the spot and get refund
That’s why it’s suggested NOT to order MORE quantity
