Hi all, two transactions back to back was done on my Amazon account on 29th dec around 7pm…
Fraudster done one electricity bill and one DTH bill …
Complaint the same on Amazon and they give me refund …
But i m not satisfied and want to know about the fraudster , who is behind the game…
Than, i saw he was done electricity bill of Mahavitran mumbai bill and i get the consumer no. on mail of his order…
I call mahavitran mumbai and gave them Kno. And tell them what is the registered number on bill … I got the number of fraudster … When i search on true caller i got his name and email id also …
When i checked on Amazon through his number i got to know he is registered on Amazon via that number…
Called Amazon and give all details and ask to check bill Kno. With my order to his account orders and they tell me that they investigate and get back to me in 48hrs….
Some new tool in market maybe. The fact facebook, apple have real time fraud protection proves nothing is truly secured.
@_Munna_michael_ i think u used amazon app on a device and sold that device on olx or else…..or your account details got leaked
Appears to me as the Amazon code bug .. it had happened in our project also.

If You Check The WhatsApp Chat Posted By @_Munna_michael_ , The Other Guy Says That He Was Trying To Add GV Which He Bought And He Even Shared The Snapshot Of GV Which Was Added In Munna’s Account Before He Paid The Bill.
Why Would Someone Knowingly Add Gv In Others Account?
Few suggestions for new dimers:
1. pl don’t make common passwords ; passwords for you email and ecom sites must be different.else if one is compromiseed ; all will.
2 Never enable you credit card for international transaction… They don’t require otps.
3. if you ever want to share ecom site login to anyone. Don’t give password just share mobile otps. And change your password once your work by other person is completed.
And what about those of us who need to make international transactions using paypal,it is better to just enable the international usage on card 5-10 min before doing international transaction then disable it again afterwards.
Too much confusion. How this happened? Who did ?
Actually you both can put a case on Amazon and win a fortune. Also he can file a case on you for putting up his personal details and accusing of hacking your account. Harassment maybe.
Also is there prime activated on your number? Never share amazon account for prime videos.

After going through the entire thread, I have a big Question….. Why Amazon opened the OPs amazon account (when the fraudster tried to add GVs), why not amazon founder Jeff account ?
IMO,
The fraudster must have got OPs credentials and added those 200+200 Physical GVs which he might have got them ILLEGALLY.
He waited for few days to make sure nothing is going against him.
When OP added the 500GV, the fraudster utilized the balance.
I am sure the fraudster is not clever enough to hack some one’s amazon account. If so, he would not have recharged his power bill and DTH bills. If he had ordered GVs, no one would have tracked him upto his residence address.
I am 100% sure that the fraudster has some connection with OP via GV trading/second hand mobile phone/UPI trading/Desidime /UMCetc.
You might have used one of those public phone nos. . .it is entirely your fault . Amazon refunded you because for them it is peanuts, they want happy slave customers for life.
Have you utilized any CC using UMC OR used public phone number for your az account?
I remember logging in to some shopping website(not so famous) when there was an offer posted here. Due to the traffic it was not easy to create an account, still I managed to create one, however to my surprise I was logged into someone else account. I tried logging out and logging in again, damn a different account. So I didn’t try anything.
After one day I tried logging in, now I got logged into my account. I think something went wrong due to the traffic the other day.
Nowayds I use 2 factor in most sites for safety.
Exactly this could be a bug also… I doubt Amazon or any site would confirm the fault officially.
I Have Sad News For All Amazon Users
I Have A Friend Who Is Working In Amazon Hyderabad Office. He Confirmed Me That The Lowest i.e Executives Who We Call/Chat Can Also See The Orders/Email/Phone Number Along With Encrypted Passwords Of Any Account And Also Above Them All Who Access Any Amazon Customer Account.
I Dont Want To Name Him And Bring More Trouble For Him. But Any Passwords In Amazon Is Visible To Executives.
So Dont Keep Saved Cards Or Any High Amount Pay Balance. And Dont Keep Same Password For All Your Credentials.
Apart From That Add 2 Factor Authorization In Your Account As Already Many Have Suggested This.
So Protect Your Account By Yourself. Sad But Bitter Facts About Amazon. Safety Is Number 1 Priority

My one amazon account got hacked on 21 Dec 2019…
Account email and password everything was changed….i couldn’t login because "the account did not exist’’
I thought it got hacked because i used to verify us mobile no….
Now i see so many posts of account hacks during the same day/week…… something went wrong from amazon i think…..
Btw i complained to Amazon and got my account back in two days….no transaction was made.

Luckily I got sms notification and I destroyed his dreams.
AJIO helped me to get back my account but did nothing to this digital bhikari.
