Amazon Gone Too Far This Time
Please have a look on it,our god are been printed and sold on dooe mats
http://www.amazon.com/Rock-Bull-Doormat-ganesh-...
You do realize these are seller fulfilled products, right? I can’t believe people are outraging everywhere and trending that tag on Twitter without even giving them a chance to rectify the issue.
I agree sentiments might be hurt by this, but the seller selling those mats is new seller. And none of these sellers are amazon fulfilled. amazon is a marketplace, so anyone can create a seller’s account and sell (lengthy procedure though). Amazon cannot check every single item that is being sold on it’s website. Although when it does find out( in a day or so), it will suspend the seller. Amazon doesn’t tolerate them. They even sued the sellers buying fake reviews. So just wait a couple of days (rather tweet or share on social network or mail amazon) they will surely take this down

The candidates are worst this time.No matter who wins between Trump or Hilary, it is people’s loss. Sad that Obama’s leaving. He was people’s president

Approval usually happens with the help of keywords and Images used in the listing by a bot
So, its not possible if one listing doesn’t violate any copyrights

just saw twitter feed of #Boycottamazon . If they are to be criticised shouldn’t it be for all the Gods? Whole feed is filled with Hindu Gods. Jesus Christ is also on one of the mats. Are we that ignorant or shallow to treat Hindu Gods and other Gods differently? All gods are the same in my opinion

He is an old seller, so probably he is allowed to list on his own without approval.

This is true. Although this puts the future of AI and machine learning in doubt. Turns out you cannot replace humans totally from the system.
@rajrocks
Yep it is,
The best thing amazon/any e-tailer can do is to remove those listings as soon as someone reports them
The whole point of #AmazonBoycott trend is baseless

It is, but shouldn’t we give them some time to fix the issue?
19.5k tweets on this trend?
and everyone is enjoying bashing amazon
If someone really cared about their religion and gods they should have tagged @Amazonhelp via twitter regarding this. At least this would’ve accelerated the listing removal process

Amazon took hours to fix moto turbo fiasco
They do follow certain procedure to review listings and take appropriate action [ Those amazon chat representatives or the ones from facebook/twitter don’t have the authority to take any action. They just report things to the concerned department]
As this is trending now, those listings will be reviewed prior to the rest

We’re providing a great idea for E-commerce websites. Create a seller account on their rival’s website, list some controversial product and leave the rest to us. Anyone can list products on eBay as well. Will we boybott eBay tomorrow for the actions of one seller?

They rectify price error of Amazon fulfilled products immediately. For seller fulfilled products, it is the responsibility of the seller to change the price. Amazon doesn’t interfere.

Check the tweets of @Amazonhelp
They do respond to each and every tweet quoting amazon/amazonIN/amazonDE whatever
and they just report back. 90% of those tweets which include that boycott hashtag doesnt include any amazon handles
Worst thing is everyone over twitter turned this into some Anti-Hindu campaign by amazon
This shows how much lower people can stoop..disgusting
2nd and 3rd listings were removed (the ones in this thread)
Anti-Hindu??? Now see this

Let’s see how many of the users who supported this #BoycottAmazon trend stay true to their words. Tomorrow if Amazon offers a free Rs. 50 gift voucher, a majority of them will choose Amazon over God.
