Amazon order cancelled but product delivered

Hi dimers,
I ordered a product on Amazon (worth 30k) from a third party seller. Due to late delivery issues, I requested the seller and Amazon to cancel the order and refund my money. The seller Initiated the refund and I got my money in 3 days. I think due to some operational issues, the seller shipped the product and I received the product today.
So, whats next?
Will Amazon or seller ask the money, should I wait for them to ask money or should I call Amazon and pay the money?
Dimers pls share your experiences if you encounter this kind of thing in the past.
The same thing happened to me. I ordered a product worth 900. But the delivery was delayed by 15 days, so I called Amazon to cancel my order which they did and refunded my money. after 7 days to my surprise product was delivered. I took the product and waited for 15 days than used the product. That was a year ago.

No this is wrong it’s his duty to do the payment. I am also a seller of Amazon and I know what will happen and he will not get the money of his order and I can understand how he/she feeling right now for not getting the payment of your order as the seller will have a loss of 30k but even more than it. So don’t do this please kindly call Amazon and make the payment. Otherwise if the seller get to know about that and in this case may be Amazon will try to contact you and if you don’t get agree that you have got the product so Amazon will not say you anything but in this seller can register a FIR against you in the case of fraud and for not paying the money as he has all your details about address,phone number, everything. See if it’s a small amount so he/she can adjust but the amount is too high 30K maybe first seller try to contact you and try to make adjustments if you wouldn’t agree so then he can lodge a FIR against you. So be careful and try to make payment ASAP before seller calls.
Its upto u now bro, bt as its a matter of huge amount i would suggest you to contact them once. As it is a third party seller who knows the seller might face a huge loss.
As per my view 30k is big amount. U should ask Amazon as well seller to initiate payment requests and u pay through it.
Seller might earned 500-1000 rs on that product. Loss of 30k is big.
On the humanity grounds u should pay them and if u don’t want product u return it.
Before 5-6 years same was happened with me. I bought hcl laptop from ebay due to diwali rush seller has made delivery and forget to upload dispatch details and as per ebay rule dispatched details was not updated upto max time allowed they have initiated the refund. I got call from HCL delivery department. The executive has requested me to make payment else i have to make it from my pocket. I told him that i again place order and u upload dispatch details actual delivery is not required.
We don’t know by keeping money who will have to pay it

Op you can talk with seller however never ever deposit money to seller bank account or other payment sources. You may face consequences later for doing this. Ask them to deduct money from original payment source.

Take your time and add Amazon pay balance using different offers and let them deduct the amount. Don’t pay directly to seller.
Contact the seller and ask him to pick it up from ur address. 30 k is a huge amt for any seller and by the time he recognizes it will be too late.
Since order is already canceled amz will not involve.
I remember one thread where one dimer was harassed by flipkart/seller where he paid the amount on his own.

Don’t pay on your own. And let them dedeuct money from ur account else you will have to prove to them MANY TIMES that you paid.

I doubt amazon will do anything as these sellers ship on their own. May be they will even suggest to deal with seller directly* as the transaction is complete on their end

Don’t do anything. Don’t contact anyone. Use the product and worry only when they contact you. Till then, have fun!
Always think before you do anything. For a minute you consider as a seller in Amazon, someone might have did like this, what will do. Always put yourself in that situation you will get a better understanding that situation.
by the way 30K is a very huge loss to a seller. if you request amazon, they will create a payment link to make the payment, thats the safest way to do it. Else if you want to deal directly take necessary details from them, Shop Name, Registration Certificate and Bank Current Account Details.
30K is big amount for any seller, so think about it bro.
Same happened in my case but in Snapdeal, I ordered Phillips trimmer worth 1600 and the next day I got a mail that order was cancelled and got refund later after few days I got the trimmer it had been 3 years till now no one called me
It was a small amount. 30k is big amount. Again saying payment should be done or product should be returned. In either case keep Amazon as co-ordinator. Don’t pay without Amazon.
Cred incorrectly refunded me recently
One week later the same amount of money was debited from my bank account !!!
Happened to me too. Almost 6 transactions were refunded to my account and 15 days later they deducted again

If you have accepted refund, you should not have accepted the delivery.
Now, if you want the product (in that offer price), you know what to do.
The choice is always yours!
Doesn’t matter what Amazon will do about this.

PS: This has not happened (from Amazon) first time. It’s quite regular thing with them. Always rejected delivery in such cases.

Here is options you have.
1. Keep the product and don’t contact anyone wait somebody to contact you.
1.1 if amazon itself do that then you can pay for product or whatever they say but make sure it’s amazon official like mails or something.
1.2 if seller contact you and ask for payment don’t do that to them directly instead like one dimer said ask him that you will place one more order and you don’t have to send the product or ask the seller to contact amazon for the payment and you are ready to pay.
2. Contact directly to amazon tell them the issue and wait what they have to say and or to do.
3. Contact seller directly (not recommended).
It’s your call you have to decide.

Notify Amazon about it and forget about it.

In Noway, Seller Can Prove That OP Got Product. As It Was Under Amazon And As Per Amazon Order Details It Was Cancelled,Money Refunded To OP And Story Closed.
As Human Gesture, OP Should Make Effort To Pay The Money But That Also In A Proper Way So That Later Seller Cant Claim For Money.
But As You Said, Seller Can Register FIR For Fraud Which Is Baseless. Here OP Is Not At Fault At All And He Has All Things To Prove It.

30k is huge amount. You should inform amazon (not the seller). They will tell options – either will do reverse pickup or will ask u pay to amazon
If I was in your place I’d have informed Amazon & for payment as advised by fellow dimers never ever pay directly let Amazon make payment link and let it go through Amazon only. Keeping money & product wouldn’t be wise decision. Sooner or later karma strikes back. Anyway it’s your final call

Let me tell you all why I accepted the product after receiving the refund.
The product was ordered in last week of October and the promised delivery date was in third week of November. The product was shipped in first week of November and got stuck with the logistics partners for 4 weeks. I doubted if product could be damaged during this period (chances of mishandling can’t be ruled out) and asked Amazon to cancel and refund, which I got in 4 days. Surprisingly, on the day when refund is processed, I received a message that order is shipped.
Now, during the October sale, like me many people had ordered and received the product and were happy with the product as I could see the reviews
Now, my thought is to take the delivery and pay the seller if the product is in good condition or return it if the product is in bad condition.
Before contacting Amazon about the issue, just thought of knowing your views and suggestions.

Good idea. But I think no one mentioned that some of the high value items Are insured by courier company if lost or delivered to wrong address.
Did you have to provide any OTP to receive the 30k item?
If you decide to return the item or money inform both Amazon and Seller. Don’t deal directly with seller unless Amazon tells you.
