Amazon packaging sucks again

I ordered cream from amazon cuz the ones that are sold here are not good quality cream… too watery and the good local cream only appears during our Bihu festival.
I trusted a dimer’s words who said amazon delivers it with dry ice and plastic box/bag.
But I received in a shabby cardboard box and nothing else!
And its ruined! I opened and tasted it and it went bad maybe due to hot temperature and traveling for 8 days without under a certain cool temperature.
Terribly disappointing and I’m afraid whether they’ll refund my amount of 480 😣

yes, contacted and gave them pics and said they’ll refund. still my hope is lost for trying out some gourmet stuff, its useless if they send it in just cardboard boxes and then getting smash/squished:(
I noticed Amazon changes the packing material often. Maybe cost-cutting. Earlier for panty items, We use to receive corrugated brown box now in a recyclable polythene cover. I’m fine with any until it doesn’t damage the product. Afterall protecting nature is our first priority.
True. I don’t want plastic packaging though. But they send everything in plastic these days.
Packing Depends From Hub To Hub. Its Not Same Pan India. May Be Due To Lack Of Such Material Available To Them.

Bro, I ordered other dry food from that same seller and this 3rd party seller never cheated me earlier and their products are “fulfilled by amazon” so it was tension free, except for what happened today.
I hope they do something with milk/chocolate products delivery. There are some safe green delivery methods, hope amazon india implements them.
They have started sending pantry packages in Polybags now. Every time i receive damaged items 
Earlier ised to provide in cardboard boxes
In my area they do not deliver in cardboard boxes now. They deliver in polybags and make sure to damage atleast 1 item in your order 
Same pantry orders are now delivered in polybag but the amazon guy brings it in platic crate like those used by grofers/bb.
@hana25 the first four lines of your post gave me a picture of squished fairness face cream… I don’t know why
