Amazon Renewed Products Review : Stay Away

I wanted to try Amazon Renewed products so i went ahead and baught samsung wireless headphones, to my surpise i found that the product was original as the seller was Apario, but the wirless headphone was broken from one end which someone had fixed using some glue, however the product was working fine..
Next I tried another wireless plugs Antaudio and this was also renewed seller was Apario , this product was also tempered and one of the earplugs was repaired which was clearly visible, no functional issue but I returned it.
so next time you order Amazon renewed be sure that the product will be tampered or will have some flaws, this is my experience, I will suggest avoid Amazon renewed, buy new and have that peace in mind.

I bought a 1+3t renewed last year for 11k and apart from the degraded battery, the mobile came in tip top condition. Like not even a single scratch. So yeah, its kind of a gamble buying renewed.
Yes many of the product are not in a working condition
Purchasing renewed products is a gamble (Good one IMO)
Apart from few bad experiences…my stint with Appario. & Cloudtail had been fruitful
That being said..you can get faulty/broken items too but easy returns for renewed is very convenient

From what I observed, initially they launch the product at half the price for renewed ones. As they get reviews they increase the price.
I have personally experienced this.
I saw an audiotechnia headphone for 1500, after some days and positive reviews, the same are listed for around 3000/-.
Then I saw Realme wireless buds(1799/- one), renewed was selling for just 750-800/- after selling some, they are selling them for more than 1300/-.
Then, Sony xb400(new ones sell for around 3500/- and they sound awesome). Renewed one for 1800/-. After some days 2499/-.

I have only purchased one Amazon Renewed product till date, the Kindle Paperwhite 3 and it was flawless. Not a scratch anywhere and battery life was top-notch. And it had the full 1 year warranty as well instead of the usual 6 months. Maybe someone returned it soon after purchase. Should definitely stay away from hard drives though because of the mere 6 months warranty period compared to 3 years originally.
I had purchased airpods pro, but they turned out to be fake- seller was apprio.
But on the other hand, I was able to score a JBL Charge 4 for just 3.5k which was completely brand new in a sealed box, just the box had little damage on side.

Good thread. Although I never wanted to buy but after reading comments here, I can take plunge for some not so costly product.
I bought few renewed products and all works good.
Bought a branded bt ear phone, luckily i tested it before return period, one side wasn’t working.
Bought 2tb hdd seeing its price, hdd was knocking a lot.
Bought an exhaust, it was very well used, even there were stain marks.
Got 2 mi powerbank and a jbl infinity bt headset which are good n still working. Stopped purchasing from renewed.
A friend bought mobile, its screen was replaced,ingenuine, white light can be seen through sides
Who was the Seller?
I bought a dell soundbar which directly latches on to my monitor since a new one was double the cost
The product looked like new, no signs of usage, works perfectly
