I hate to say it, but a support team, which at least I used to admire at one point in the past is getting worse day by day. They are getting into the “No knowledge, but still act like I know everything” customer support team category. You know, the ones who don’t know sh**, but still make stuff up, because they think we are fools.

I had purchased Amazon Pay email gift card of Rs. 1000 during the 10% cashback valentine days offer, sadly I didn’t get, got Rs. 1 instead. I complained them the same day, but they suggested me to wait for 3 days. After 3 days still didn’t get it, here’s a summary on what they said today,

I strongly don’t encourage people to behave like this, in my case it was a one time thing, was really frustrated.

In such cases resolution on our side is only 1%. Just forget it and try to loot in other ways. Order consumables and complain. They will provide refund, now you act dumb they will place order for you. I did the same

I hope they aren’t, because if they really are paid to act like this, believe me this is not going to end well for Amazon. Customers like me will hate them just because of their support team. As they are first line of people who interact with customers on Amazon’s behalf, the impression really matters.

same thing happened to me too, support executive kept saying it can be anything between 1-100 and i got 1rs instead of 100,requested for a callback then they said it was mistake on their part and told me the remaining amount will be credited manually

They hire freshers for chat support not like experienced guys they used to hire earlier bcoz they provide less salary to freshers and make them work 9 hours . Well this is surprising they dont even knw 10% of 1000 laughing

I used dumb behaviour like this to get a cashback(compesation) of 200 for the 14/02 50% upto 200 cashback offer but i took around 1 hour

They hire anyone here at Hyderabad. That is why it keeps getting worse. Earlier they used to hire engineers from reputed colleges for CS. Now anyone can get into Amazon. There is no proper screening. All the good CS guys jumped over to various other organizations like UBER.

Don’t use the chat, it is waste of time. Call them, and if they don’t resolve, ask for supervisor. Basically the only good left at Amazon is supervisors. Soon they may also perish.

That’s for software developers and not for chat support. Even right now Amazon’s process for software developers is tough to crack

I have faced issue many a times with Amazon and never understood why Amazon cc was praised. Amazon never solved my issues and many a times lost cashback. Most problematic was when bought op2 and it started having problems after second day but still they didn’t replace it

My friends who used to be from reputed engineering colleges used to work for CS. Software is a whole different Arena and is very very tough to crack.

I am sure you don’t get cashback if you get cashback within 3 working days this is ok otherwise not ok. I have missed 500 Youth offer and 10% upto 100 rs gv cashback. No cc is here to help you.Those cc think themselves oversmart and looks us as a fool. Those clever cc told me “Your cashback is our responsibility”. Wtf I don’t receive cashback. They are not good. Other than canceling Subscribe and Save. I didn’t get much help from cc for Cashback related queries in life.If cashback automatically credit it is good otherwise you don’t get anything by begging to such clever super intelligent **.

Yes they do have dumb people as well, you’ll find them in many corporates.

I would suggest you either call and talk or send an email.
Chatting with them isn’t helping these days unless you want to get refund

I don’t think that was just a typo but rather an absent minded way to justify his claim of cb between 1 to 100 as he clearly says 10% is re. 1 so minimum cb can be re. 1 also

Before I used only calls to contact them, they never used to get the offer I’m talking about and only just read out loud the T&C of the offer if they found it. It easily took 10 minutes and above for simple issues like these.

I noticed their chat support team is quick and understanding, eventually I only used their chat support to save time. Now chat support has same kind of people too.

I think I got 2 white hairs during the awful time when their system broke down my orders into multiple forms and thus did not give cashback… despite buying and paying at one go to get cashback and getting emails and sms on one single order.
Nowadays, if things go wrong.. I just cancel the orders and don’t bother with cc.

If you have bad luck then you’ll.get a chance to meet one of these oversmart dumbos in calls too.
Flipkart cc is 100% useless whereas amazon cc is 50%
