I want Amazonpay ICICI credit card without any income proof. SO I recently opened a savings account . now there is two option which I think may work
1. Maintaining a balance around 30-40k in savings account & if they offer me any kind of credit card then ask them only process Amazonpay ICICI credit card if possible Or,
2.Apply for any credit card against FD and later ask them to convert it to Amazonpay ICICI credit card..
So any of this will work? Knowledgeable person must share their thoughts

Then I highly recommend you not to get a CC at this stage of life.

Go for Option 1

Option 3: Get a ICICI credit card against FD. Use it for 3-6 months. Apply for Amazon Pay ICICI credit card from your Amazon account. Most probably you will get the approval instantly. Then after a month, close your old ICICI credit card.

You will get platinum for FD which is useless as it is a secured card and you won’t get Apay card based on it
The basic pre-approved card based on MAB is Coral LTF AFAIK and I’ve seen many users here getting Apay card approved based on it in less than 4 months

Yeah, that’s why I said most probably.

In most of the cases, they offered APay ICICI credit card to all existing ICICI credit card holders. But in same cases, they did not. I believe it also depends on some other factors.

That factor. Pure luck.

And the mood of the approving officer.

Sure, you can call it luck. I have no problem with it.

Also, in our cases (4 applications), there was no ‘approving officer’ involved. When we applied, we got auto approved. Got digital card within 2 mins and physical card in 7-10 days.

That was only during first 1/2 months of the credit card launch
They even gave Apay cards to students without any salary slip/ITR

None its just random i guess. As in my case my card was approved in 2 days on basis on my account. But the next day got call asking to provide my office e mail address which has it specific domain. Though i had already mentioned it was self employed and own a business.

Not offer abuse but credit card reward abuse.. those people were using 40-50 times their credit limit to earn 5% rewards. Imagine people earning 75k to 1L rs as rewards per month.
