I think everyone here will agree on the fact that Masaan is a very good movie , as well this is not some 500+ crore bhai (Read Khan’s) movie that producers will be lying on the pile of cash . Masaan is a very very honest attempt under tight budget constraints .. so i meant to support these indie producers / makers by either watching their creation in cinema or any other legal medium , so they could earn some $$‘s and be inspired to make more good movies . otherwise we will be only left with another Bhai/Khan’s shitfest .
if censor board change the meaning of your film and hotstar crop your whole movie down then i guess you will too tell others to download the original version from torrent as that is the film you want the public to see
