I was thinking of buying this but it has the same hardware as that of mi box 3. Plus I read reviews on amazon.com and reddit that after oreo update it does not even play 1080p videos on kodi properly. Also amazon prime is not supported
Reply if I am missing something here.

AMazon prime video can be side loaded and it works very well

Didn’t purchased any TV box but planning to buy one. I want to know the same which TV box is good.

Don’t forget that you may never receive also. My 1st order was a dash cam. It never came. By the time I got refund (70days after order), dollar exchange rate became less. Finally I got 10% less amount than what I paid. That will be my 1st and last order from a Chinese site.
Yeah . it depends on the seller for a reputed seller that will be a rare case.
That being said, all purchases are not 100% safe

I purchased the product in the title of this thread, for which this thread was created! Shipping to Mumbai!
Mumbai customs takes longer time to clear items when compared to Chennai customs..

No matter what custom. You may end up getting nothing and waiting and waiting

Mi Box have Oficial Certified Android running on it, Android TV playstore is available, check whether the app you want to install is there on Android TV playstore (not android phone playstore) if it is there then its compatible with Mi Box

Nobody can assure you that, one thing you can do is declare a lesser value (not very less, believable amount and opt for a free shipping)
I didn’t paid any customs charge for my Mi TV box which was around Rs.4100.

i dont understand what is the use of android box here, anyone please explain, i have mi 4a pro 50 inch tv which has android, chromecast, youtube, 2gb ram and 8gb memory, i have sidloaded airtel tv, jio tv, netflix, prime too though dont use them much, also i have sideloaded not too heavy games which work well, the only issue is only 8gb memory, let me know what else can be done using android box – if it will add any value to my current setup ?
