Can we use jiofi device , just device for calling purpose . Among two models which one is good to use.

Yes. caling with Jio 4G voice. but call connection takes 3-5 attempts (in any device over Jio network). Among the two Jio Fi original one is better since it is more compact and better hardware built. newer one has more wifi range though it has many compromises.

Since price is same and you still have to visit store for Jio sim.
