Anyone using Tata Sky here? (I just switched from Videocon D2h, Help needed).

Just now I switched to Tata Sky as Videocon d2h is continuously reducing the number of channels.
Now I am setting favorite channels in tata sky remote and it was giving option for only One Set of favorites. Videocon d2h allows 4 sets of favorites. Suppose I arrange like all telugu channels in set 1, all sports in set 2, all english news in set 3………Pressing red button opens set 1, pressing green button opens set 2…..
And also in D2h, if I press ‘18’ it directly plays 18th channel in favorites, if I press 42 it directly plays 42nd channel in favorites. This option is also not available in Tata sky I think. Or is there anything I’m missing here?
(Suppose HBO is in 42nd place in my tata sky favorites list, So I have to scroll through all 41 channels to see it?)

As a longtime tatasky user, I can tell you that the Guide is the best option to navigate to a channel, its very user friendly.
Also the tata sky app has a very well made remote if you can connect your set top box to your home network.

P.S. I face a unique problem, Program description keeps saying “Information not available” for so many channels. Is that normal for Tatasky?
Airtel never had this issue..

Airtel never had this issue..
It takes some time to update the guides. Keep the device(only not TV) ON.

At my place such a lightening fast speed comes i am able to consume only 2 gb in full day

At my place such a lightening fast speed comes i am able to consume only 2 gb in full day
Change to 1800Mhz band if you can

Idk whether changing to that frequency will help or not but here’s one thing i observed.
I am not able to make free call or enjoy good speed after morning. But after going to my friend’s place (has jio n/w tower adjacent to his house) just 3-4 kms away i can do both whole day.
So may be that’s poor connectivity issue

That is why I said use a phone that has only 1800Mhz band, since more than 90% of people are using the 2300Mhz band congestion is high but on 1800Mhz congestion is low. When I use the sim on my Flame1 websites like Amazon crawl but wehn I switch it in my LG phone which doesn’t has 2300Mhz band I get blazing fast browsing speeds.
Edit: You can also try this in a phone which allows you to stick to your preferred band. Unfortunately Jio has restricted this on Lyf devices.
You will not be able to make calls via VOLTE on other bands though.
