Apple’s yearly September event where Apple will unveil the next generation iPhone is happening today at 10:30 PM IST.

Apart from the obvious specs and stuff here are some points to note.
7/7 Plus to launch in India on October 7th. And pre-orders begin on September 9th in first list of countries.
6S/6SPlus 128gb might get a price cut of Rs. 20000 on MRP. Expect the new MRP of 6S 128gb to be Rs. 60000 and 6S plus 128gb to be Rs. 70000. In US price has been cut down by $200. Wait for Diwali offers to grab them at a great price.
As of now expected pricing in India is
iPhone 7 32gb for RS. 60000
iPhone 7 128gb for Rs. 69000
iPhone 7 256gb for Rs. 78000
iPhone 7 Plus 32gb for Rs. 69000
iPhone 7 Plus 128gb for Rs. 78000
iPhone 7 Plus 256gb for Rs. 87000
Revised pricing for iPhone 6S and 6S Plus in India (expected)
iPhone 6S 32gb for Rs. 51000
iPhone 6S 128gb for Rs. 60000
iPhone 6S Plus 32gb for Rs. 60000
iPhone 6S Plus 128gb for Rs. 69000
All versions of iPhones sold in US are unlocked at full price, including AT&T and T-Mobile.
iPad Air 2 128gb has a price cut of $200 too so wait for some amazing deals in India as well soon.

I was contemplating to buy an iPhone but after iphone 6 and now iphone 7 disaster I don’t have any hope from them. Apple is dead with Steve Jobs.

If you want to experience iOS then get a good used iPhone 5S or wait till october for prices to go down further. I would recommend getting a 5S used 16gb for around 12k with Indian warranty.
What my guess is that Apple might replace 5S with iPhone 6 in India this October so expect a base version of iPhone 6 to be sold for around 25k to 28k max by Diwali. If you are ok with a used phone then a used iPhone to for around 18k may be.
iPhone SE is a premium phone too as it has just the same (almost) internals as iPhone 6S. Wouldn’t recommend spending so much unless you want an iOS device which is compact.

never bought a used phone outside my circle so a bit hesitant. preference is new but if im getting old at a good price then i take a shot.
i doubt how much apple will push down the value of iphone 6. 25-28k i really doubt it.

Can anyone suggest me which one is better 6s or 6s plus and after launching I phone7 ..rates will decrease on 6s & 6splus or not.

A basic checklist will do bro, just ensure that there is no physical damage on the phone and rest Apple warranty will take care of it. They have one of the best customer support teams.

iPhone 6 is already being sold for around 33k in deals now bro and I am sure it will go further once iPhone 7 is out in India. In fact, this was the strategy Apple played last year too when iPhone 5S was discontinued in US they just lowered the price officially and sold it in India.
Anyways, better to wait till October 7th and see what happens.

planning to buy 128gb iPhone 7 plus Matte Black , T-Mobile Unlocked , will cost around 60k . Whereas iPhone 7 128gb will be 53k . Is battery , and large display , dual camera worth 7k ? I doubt so . But it’s a one time investment , having 5s and 5 , they don’t get old . Will wait till 27th for exams to end and then order

One main reason I opted for 6s plus rather than 6s was the camera. But now that the primary lens is exactly the same, including OIS, I am in two thoughts too. Anyways, 720p for a flagship is a sorry tale man.
I will be ordering a 7 plus matte black too but depends on stock. I hope I can get it on time. Waiting for the phone to show up in employee portal to get Apple employee discount, last time it was up only after a week from pre-order date and shipping times were horrible by then.
