Don’t have ACT connectivity in our area as the local cable guy was against ACT. Otherwise i would have already had ACT connection or if Railwire connectivity was available, i would have gone for it. Sad news is both of them are not available.

My data card also got damaged, so did the math
700(data card)+ 700×3(BSNL unlimited 2mbps) ~3000
My 1tb HDD stopped working all of a sudden, all my data got list
Probably these are the two main reasons why I purchased one

And also my dreamspark premium membership will expire next year (Purchased all windows 7, 8 n 8.1 genuine versions for free)
And my one drive 100gb plan will also expire this December .
Good thing about Jio is it is offering 1-1.5mbps upload speed. Downloaded all windows ISOs n few other softwares and uploaded the one drive

purchased 2 TB HDD (filled 1tb already 😁) , got 200gb one drive space for 2 years

After 3 months will sell it off for 4-4.5k via eBay and use this jio sim in any other mobile (25gb/month for 750 will be more than sufficient for me until i opt for act/railwire connection )

Look for regional ISPs in your area on JustDial. There are many local providers in Bangalore, who are actually franchisee of a few regional ISPs (specific to south India) and they offer plans that are exactly the same or similar to ACT.

@getready The thing is I have a pretty good idea about most of the services provided by ACT, Railwire & other franchisees in Bangalore as I used to work for one of them & also a different company which provided similar ISP services. But at the present, i am working in an entirely different field of work and have lost contact with most of them. I am also aware of the problems faced by customers & reasons behind it. Just like in my case, the local cable guy is adamant against allowing any private franchisee who provide ISP services. Using BSNL for more than 8 years and happy with it. I never had a lot of problems or disconnection and even if any issue arises, the BSNL exchange is quite near my house. They have resolved it faster & i am happy with the service. So i never felt the need to go for a better plan. But now after losing almost 5TB of data, i am in need of a better plan & speed with unlimited access.

PS – I used to enjoy speeds of 70-80mbps & so never felt data starved.

I’m thinking of purchasing Lyf Flame 6 anyone purchased or seen it also will they offer 5gb day+Night+5g WiFi data for 300 after 3 months

flame is not worth..
only worth mobile is Wind 4…as it has good specifications..
wind 6 is also not worth..
..
if you want to go for good mobile then go for water series…11.5k to 15k
Earth is not worth, way costly…

What is this HD calling option? Where do you get it? (Are you referring to the JioJOin app?)

no there was HD voice calling option before update..It was in setting – mobile netwotk

wind 4 excellent… travelled hyd to goa. some times network not there… most of the places i got 4g signal and speed about 10mbps avg…airtel 4g <<<<<<<<<<< jio

HD calling is VoLTE (voice over LTE)

the only lyf phone worth buying (with Jio connection) is Wind 4

I have downloaded more than 80GB data in 7 days….I could have downloaded easily above 100GB if time permit..

ya HD voice calling is VoLte but It lost after update, thats what I am saying..no option now.

Free usages is unlimited for 3 months, they may extend period if launch gets delayed.
but Wind 4 is worth buying for 6800 and with jio sim 4G free.
But it may get hang in future cause of basic processor and 1GB RAM.
If you are planning to buy good phone, you can go for Water series but not worth money.

Anybody bought other than Wind 4 ??

I need to buy one asap but everywhere in my town this Wind 4 is OOS and they say it may or may not arrive soon…. so I was thinking to buy some other model. Anybody got Flame 2 ?
