We cannot save earth from our greed and are talking about exploiting /destroying another planet.
Why visionaries are planning only From Earth to Mars ,why not further from mars to someother place , as we will destroy everything we get at much faster pace .

Humans could not take care of Earth that is perfectly suited for human life. Now they want to colonize Mars where there is no air to breathe.
If humans were capable of setting up colonies on Mars, the requirement of setting up colonies on mars would not have arisen in the first place!
Except for research, like we have people in Space stations.

Once Earth becomes unlivable, humans can set up colonies on Earth itself, why go to Mars?

First of all Human is the cleverest and dumbest species ever simultaneously. On one hand he is looking prospects in living and extracting resources from another inhabitable planets while destroying the already habitable planet. He must first look for ways to save and replenish the already available resources with him.
Now coming to the point of looking towards another planet, yes definitely yes but not on the verge of damaging the earth. No one would have thought one day man will fly, or reach space but that became possible. So nothing is impossible unless achieved. In this vast space, one will be foolish to think that we are alone in this universe. There is high possibility of another planet and species like us, who may also be thinking of expanding or greedness will lead them to us somehow for resources. Why not we also be prepared for it. Those who have the capacity will only think ahead, others will just live in their comfort zone. If we have capacity we should explore.

I think we should equally explore more to reduce the global warming here

Make a machine (AI powered obviously) which will be able to filter the good human souls out from the rotten human souls and we won’t be needing to to live in another planet. There’s still more than enough time to save this planet. Just send those latter kind to Saturn or something.

In any case, of course I’m in favour of colonisation on mars. Planet earth is filled up pretty badly as it is, thanks to Indian and Chinese people especially. Just send people to mars already and relieve this planet to some extent ffs. Knowing fully well that planet mars’s future is doomed once the human touches its ground, like everything they touch is doomed anyway. Phocking cancerous human beings.
