Hi guys,

I want to buy mini laptop for study purpose (i.e reading PDF files, browsing websites, PPT files and watching youtube videos). Not interested in gaming and photo editing adobe Photoshop software.

I have searched lot about notebook and mini laptop and liked these machine:

Micromax Lapbook 10-11" @Rs.10.5k -15k
iball Compbook 11" @ Rs.10k (Newly launched)
iBall compbook 14" @Rs.14k (Newly launched)
ASUS X205TA 11" @ Rs.15k
ASUS E402MA 14" @ Rs.17k

My budget : Rs.10k-15k

all above machines have same configuration 32GB ROM, 2GB RAM, Windows 10 preloaded, and battery backup of 8-12hrs. I was planning to buy ASUS X205TA but now iBall has launched compbook, same configuration of ASUS with 10,000mAh battery*. So should i go with ASUS or iball ?? or any android TABLET would be better ? please suggest me what to buy ?*

Does all these machines support reading big PDF files, 720P movies, and browsing multiple 5-6 tabs in chrome or firefox ??

iBall compbook :http://www.digit.in/laptops/first-impressions-i...

Suggest you not to go for iball brand for costly devices.

@kool Why not simply buy a tablet? All of your stated requirements would be fulfilled in a better way by a tablet itself. No need to go for a PC.

Even I am planning to buy one of these 3. I had decided to go for Asus but then decided to wait and see reviews of iball compbook.

BTW, lukng at your requirements, I think you should go for a tablet only (as DealSeeker has suggested) You can buy Mi Pad for around 10k and use it. Suits your requirements perfectly !!!1

I am already using 7" nexus tablet, but its 2year old now. Previously i planned for 10" tablet but a good 10" tablet is expensive , 20k+ so i decided to buy this COMPBOOK 11" which has 10000mAh battery capacity.

Even i’m almost sold for iBall compbook Exemplaire 14" especially for battery life… I do almost same thing which you do and i do watch movies on laptop and some photo editing on photoshop. I’m not sure how smooth it will run with photoshop. As it’s having only 32GB space, i’m not sure if there is a free space to install it or not https://cdn1.desidime.com/assets/textile-editor/icon_smile.gif waiting for some reviews.

Micromax 2-in-1 with built in 3G SIM slot is regularly available on Amazon @ 10999 or less. In my view that’s the best value for money.

I believe it’s almost the same: http://www.desidime.com/forums/dost-and-dimes/t...

Edit: I had written a review of the laptop but not able to find it. In short, I would recommended it. Asus warranty beats the rest of the competition.

From personal experience for low budget go for the best Asus or Dell(if you can find one).
