Hi,
I applied for APY some years back in some regional bank.
But, I am thinking to close the account on that bank, can i move APY account from one bank to another?
Second, if so then how?

Yeah, or I will need to keep the account alive till the portability comes.

To my understanding, APY is linked to savings account number and not portable. However, if your bank supports core banking, base branch should be possible to be changed.
Nothing is available regarding portability of APY on the official website. But now even APY holders are allotted PRAN. so there is a possibility that portability may be available now or in near future.
