our mentality – I saved 50% on the lollipop.

well, that ₹5 lollipop was marked up to ₹50 & offered at 50% discount and we lapped it up coz we are saving 50%.

This is the way how we are shopping nowadays. The intrinsic value of the F’in thing is just 5 irrespective of how anyone can try to upsell it as it’s a lollipop after all. But we don’t understand this and go for the savings over value.
