hey, just received a SMS from Axis Bank :
W.e.f. 1st Oct’19, 10% cashback on online spends of Axis Bank Priority Debit Card can be redeemed only for EDGE REWARD points. T&C apply.
This is SAD news. Now, will have to unnecessarily spend points on vouchers. Cash redemption option was best.

While the value is reduced, it will still come out as 7-8% cashback .. not too bad to keep the account..
SO Instead of 2500 INR we get 2500 Amz GV per quarter. Not bad.
Yes, but notional value is reduced now.
Many people buy Amazon GC at discount, load money during promotions or use SmartBuy for 10x rewards so Amazon gift card redemption is kinda loss.

I got the same notification that the cashback can only be redeemed as Edge points, but while I was trying to redeem the rewards for current quarter (Oct to Dec 2019), I’m able to see the option to get 2500/- in my account
Claim it & see if you’ll get cash, I haven’t spent this month as I spent a lot during Flipkart Sale.
Approx 30k on cred, 20k on flipkart
This is very useful. 
So your cred spends are getting counted as you got option for redemption of 2500 and not just 2000.
anyone received 2500 cb or 12500 edge points for this quarter . 10 days completed still nothing came for me
You have to “redeem” it. It does not get added automatically.
After you login, on the right hand side, you should see an option to “claim” rewards. Once you do that, I will be added in 4-5 days.
I received the option for redemption today as my spends from 1st Oct finally got counted and choose cash for redemption.
Let’s hope for best.

Already claimed CB – chose CASH option instead of eDGE rewards
So we will get only points – NO cash

I redeemed 18 days ago, (selected cash option) but have neither received money nor edge points
Same problem for me also, rased cb on 18th and till now not processed.
i redeemed for 2500 cashback yesterday, I got excited seeing that option. My happiness is gone seeing your comment. 
How to get axis priority card? Eligibility & benefit plz…
Open a priority acc (mab-2lacs) you get 12500 points (worth ₹2500) every quarter when you spend 25k online.

I sent mail to RM to check with backend team.
Today i mailed both issues to two IDs, one is customer.services@axisbank .com and other is my RM email ID.
Second mail, only about demat issue, dropped to dp.operations@axisbank .com

Any update. Chatted with customer care and he taken request and told it will be done in 5 days time.
I am also waiting ..
Just today, customer service said that their issue is resolved now and that everyone should get rewards in 1 weeks time. Let’s hope we do .. fingers crossed
as asual axis is by far worst ever in cc… plus now they removed their email customer service option

I guess that they didn’t realise that some redemptions we’re successful earlier and may have credited for everyone who have redeemed in this quarter
There were a option to transfer reward points to some other customer id.
Currently i am not able to find it. If anyone know, please let me know menu from which points can be transferred
