Please don’t undermine if you do not understand. Have you ever made your dream come true? If yes, how big was it?
You do not like the movie, fine but you simply cannot ignore the man behind all this. If S S Rajamouli doesn’t inspire you, then you really need some help.
They are risking their fortune to do something which has been never done before in Indian Cinema and when you go this big there is no room for failure. You need to have nerves of steel when you are leading a project of this magnitude. It is not just the money but you need to keep your actors and their unit invested for years, I can’t even make people to come to terms in small issues. So it is pretty obvious for them to do more promotions because it is their profession, the one which pays them and just like any other person doing a job they want to make more money, so they are just doing the necessary.
Coming to your graphics is good part, please check the budget of the English movies whose graphics blew your mind and decide. The movie may not resonate with you, but most of the people in India want to experience this world of Baahubali and come close to living the dream which they dreamt of in theor childhood.
@DealLooter Very ignorant comment. You should never criticise before watching the movie. Let’s see what the director has to offer and then come to conclusion if it should have been cut short.
I feel you are very wrong based on my assumption, see if I have to put it simply, this is like Gangs of Wasseypur where the story runs over generations, Sardar Khan and Faizal in this case and Amarendra and Mahendra Baahubali in case of Baahubali. I don’t see any other way to convey the entire narrative in less than 5-6 hours. Hope you get the point.
Will not overtake PK collections at all.They should have done this movie in single part itself (even if its for 3hrs)
A very expensive gamble 
I am no expert in calculating the collections but tickets are priced 20-30% more than normal and running in 9000+ screen while PK and other only 5000 around,and almost all are full this weekend,so i assume it will be 90crore today,and 100+ tommorow and day after tommorow.also its india here screenplay,acting,realness doesnt decide movie is hit or not,just hero name and promotion is needed.
@DealLooter no bro the movie story itself is lengthy(6hrs) how can they reduce it to 3hrs …..so they divided into two!!!! wen SRK does promotion for movies then it doesnt matter okk ok its a south indian movie gotcha everything needs promotion buddy @desibuddy the director itself said that 1st part is only on intro and a bit of fights how come u assumed the entire story and had come to a conclusion lets see the conclusion and then draw ur narration here no offence intended.

I HATE BAHUBALI STUPID VFX DELETED AFTER 10 MINS OF MOVIE RUNTIME JST ANOTHER STUPID EFFECTS FILLED MOVIE 
Having watched too many VFX movies (that too English movies who have already raised the bar high cause of their budget) lets you make such a statement. There are plenty of people within India who are yet to get a glimpse of that experience.
P.S. VFX is meant to be enjoyed in theatres on the big screen not in your 15.6’’ screen

First half is really good n upto the mark of first part
Last fight sequence is total crap n defy even fast and furious’s action logic.
VFX screenplay acting story everything about last 30min is complete horse’ s^#t.
I didn’t see the first part so I don’t want to know Why Katta-pa killed Bahubali.

Good Movie (last 30 minutes no logic though), Hatsoff to Rajamouli, he has shown our childhood story world on Big screen. Sivagami, Bahubali, Bijjaladeva, Katappa characters and their emotions are elevated very well, unnecessary hype by the question “why Katappa killed Bahubali?”, answer is silly and many unanswered questions like Bhallaladeva has a son and he tries to seek revenge for son’s death but nothing shown about his wife in any part. Anyway SSR story narration is much better than any director in India, after 5 yrs of hardwork & dedication Bahubali team has raised Indian/Telugu cinema standards to international levels for sure 👍👍👌👌👌
Story of Both bahuballi 1,bahuballi 2 have been written on before making bahuballi 1.
And bahuballi 2 has nothing story but it 1:30 hr runs bahuballi 1 on screen than rest of time bahuballi 2. Bahuballi 2 is rescreening of bahuballi 1

Watched it yesterday (Telugu Version)
Not a big fan of Rajamouli [Because there wont be anything new in his movies] Yep i agree he presents things well even though his entire movie will be an inspiration of a couple of hollywood films and he does it so perfectly unlike many other Indian directors
Coming to baahubali-I, havent watched it in a theatre, it was good n entertaining
Baahubali-II is very good when it comes to first half even the BGM. I almost decided to watch this movie again (Hindi version) because of first half
The entire second half is pure crap, not just the last 30min everyone talking about (Rajamouli tried hard to replicate LOTR war scenes but failed miserably)
and Baahubali-II is not entirely a visual spectacle may be budget concerns, there are like 30min of shots (barring the climax fight scene) which come at regular intervals that makes the people feel awe about this film especially those landscape shots (although they looked awesome), the next shots felt so ordinary most of them would not notice this.
I would still say, “La La Land” (Budget : 200c) looks awesome visually than this because of too many inconsistencies pertaining to Baahubali Performances wise, everyone did exceptional Job

i dont like the movie, they’re just promoting more than what they spend on movie, more promotion..
But still there graphics work is good compared to other indian movies.
