Baba Ramdev Challenges Amazon, Flipkart With OrderMe: Swadesi Online Store With Free Delivery

So much of negativity people carry in their mind and heart for Ramdev.
Well I always preferred Himalaya and Dabur and I do. So are few products from Patanjali. I settled on Patanjali Dant Kanti toothpaste after using almost every known and unknown brand. Amla Candy (Sweet) is something helped me with my sensitive throat, the problem I faced for years. Patanjali Cow mil — Much better than any other brands selling milk in that price range. Patanjali Super Dishwash bar is something which was approved by my maids as it was mild on their hands. Mango drink (did not try other flavors) is probably the only product I liked among Chawanprash/Biscuits/Juices/Snacks as I feel the rest all are too surgery!

I would say, buy what you like as end of the day its your money but don’t simply hate someone cause he has lifestyle/thought process you don’t approve.

क्या आप जानते हो सरसो का तेल पतंजलि 120 rs का बेचता था पिछले साल, जबकि दूसरे सरसो के तेल 100 के मिलते थे अब पतंजलि इसे 130 का
बेचता है जबकि दूसरे brand अब भी इससे कम रुपये में बेचते है। ऐसा एक ही product नही है बल्कि कई है।
लाला रामदेव “स्वदेशी अपनाओ” का नारा लगाकर देश के लोगो को ही लुटता है !!

Even though Acharya Balkrishna owns 98.6% of the company, people still doubt on Ramdev. What an irony! 😛

I hope now deals would be posted more frequently as deliveries has started and people will stop making desidime a political warzone. Nowadays even on simple posts people start political arguments which doesn’t make sense to me.

If the prices are affordable and quality is good then I see no issue in switching to desi.

The most attractive categories for me will be household products and toys made in India. The only purpose to go local is to make it in house and cheaper rather than importing things at high cost including paying customs causing customers to pay more at the end. Going local also helps to increase employment.

I have recently tried some Indian made natural detergents and baby products like Mother Sparsh and Mama Earth. The quality is good but the prices are too expensive and burnt a hole in my pocket. I have to now think twice if I ever want to buy those again. That just defeats the goal of going local. What’s the use of making such products only if the rich can afford it?

Fix kar key mat bolo…andh bahkto ki tarah…pahle istamaal karo phir viswas karo..jo acha lagta hai uski tarif karo..jo pasand nahi avoid karo… definitely some product of ramdev excellent..and some are average…and some has quality maintain issu….andhe ho kar tarif mat karo..andhe hokar burai mat karo..

This is great news if true. I’m certainly looking for desi alternatives wherever I can. Seems like an exciting time for India. Zoho in place of zoom. Elyments will replace WhatsApp/facebook. Will need to see which desi e-commerce platform will take the cake.

People lived Western life for quite long and they realised this will harm at end so now they focus on natural sources like yoga and meditation. Baba ramdev is in this field with good branding and marketing thats the reason people believe in him.

That BABA has pulled the biggest scam in India his product are good no complain but the price he offer is lot as compared to other indian product and also foreign product in the name of Ayurveda and people on a large scale already fall for that.

Baba Ramdev is not regarded as a stakeholder in the company. The yoga guru holds zero percent share in the company. Surprised? So are we! Whereas, Balkrishna holds a majority of stakes in the company.

Acharya Balkrishna holds a 94% stake in Patanjali Ayurved. Interesting isn’t it? But the best part is that he does not take home a salary. He works 15 hours a day refuses to take holiday on Sunday and is even active on public holidays.

Ayurved Patanjali has its own Patanjali Food and Herbal Park which operates under the food park scheme of the Indian Government. Not only that, the company even reportedly commissioned one of the largest food parks in the world at a total investment of ₹500 crore. Its not just an asset to the medicinal brand but it has also been helpful in providing employment to over 6,500 people and is spread across 100 acres.
