I observed issues multiple times with Airtel Thanks App while recharging other Mobile Nos (not linked to Airtel Thanks App)

I had one of my family members mobile which was renewal due and it was flashing on my App to renew, so i clicked on the same Banner/Recharge which was clearly reflecting my Family Mobile No. and did a 298 recharge and it has recharged the default mobile no., i already had a 50 days validty with 6 gb and now it replaced with 28 days 2gb. This is not the 1st time and it has happen earlier also.

Airtel customers dial in 400 and Non Airtel customers dial in 8800688006

An update on this. As i was not able to contact Customer Support on Phone i sent a email and also pasted the same message on Airtel Facebook Messenger so their staff called me on it and agreed to transfer the amount to my Main Balance Account and it just reflected though the validity still shows 28 days only as it should be 50 days so still communicating. Overall still reminding everyone that the problem exists if you do recharge for other nos. else they would have not issued a refund so for the moment avoid using it for other nos.

Even they can recharge your number without entering the airtel payment bank mpin/otp
And now clearly denying for refund/reversal.

It was done through a technical glitch/system issue but I don’t want there recharge.

I have maild there first level to senior level they all are same.

100% working solution.

Dont waste your time on 198 or twitter arguing with those morons.

just create an account on PGPORTAL and lodge a complaint against airtel to DoT, you will receive a call from top most airtel support executive and also he will we having the authority to do any changes in your plan.

i alwayas do this whenever there is any issue regarding vodafone/airtel.

customer care executives are just illiterate time consuming morons.

Is it possible to avail 50/40 discount coupon on recharging others Airtel number via my Airtel app?
Can main balance be used if I recharge my own number and avail discount coupon too on app?
