Best Jeans Brand after Levi's

Hey dimers, need your suggestion on Jeans Brand, have learnt that Levi’s is the best brand, but it is not economical for me. So wanted your opinion on the next best Brand’s. Thanks in Advance for your contribution.

Never tried Levi Strauss after getting overweight (fat😛😪)..
Pepe doesn’t really have Indian market in mind.
In-fact both Pepe and Levis, just arrogantly trying to be “Murican”.

Aeropostale is strictly avoidable, a rip-off.
Indonesuan, Vietnamese cheap stuff being dumped at premium😔.

In India, Jockey, Lee, Wrangler.. despite being Murican.. totally let the local office or franchise keep Indians at focus.
Lee, Wrangler are practically identical… both marketed by VF Corp. who also get them made locally down south: top quality fabrics, workmanship

Mostly after 50-60% discounts 1400-1800 range. On-line or odd-lot sale items even at 1200-1300.

Haven’t used Flying Machine in decades.. used to be good though.

@amdoinggood123 it’s really never black and white (worst, best).
Like in India, Levi’s practically only sells low rise and then too not one jeans in basics.. (basics= no wash/ acid wash, faded or patterns.. just basic solid colour )
If they have any with even 16 inch seat/ back rise and even 7-8% elastene/Lycra (stretch material + remaining pure cotton).. please do let me now. (i can even spend 2500-2800 for trial).

Wrangler
Spykar is good. I don’t understand why there is a hype for Levi’s. Spykar, wrangler etc are equally good. I personally don’t like Levi’s. You can also get around 50-60% off on spykar, flying machine etc on myntra.
Thanks bro, have used flying machine and John players till date, so will try out spykar and Wrangler now.
Wrangler has been around for more than 20 years in India and is still the best. Levi’s come a close second.

After discount too most good jackets or jeans were 3-5000 INR.
Then i saw a carton being opened.. it had label of being shipped/ reshipped via Hongkong (probably made i S.E. Asia)
I puked and immediately left.

I rather found CAT brand Accessories, shoes worth the premium.
Levi’s is the best for it’s price range or should I say our price range. And then Pepe and Wrangler are also good brands. Diesel and CK is the absolute best if money is not the problem.
BTW what is your budget? You can easily buy a Levi’s jeans for 1100-1500 rs from Amazon and Flipkart. It’s even cheaper during sale with all the bank offer and cashbacks.
Levi’s is expensive offline.
Never go for Peter England, John Player, Killer and Flying Machine etc. They sell low quality product are marginally low price. They wear out very soon.
Any recommendation for chinos? They always lose colors very easily or cloth becomes rough after some washes in my case. Any good brand?
Depends what kind of fitting you want.
For me NEXT fits well and it has wide variety of sizes for different heights and waists.

(Clothing and footwear i never buy/use without trying.. thus on-line would be a no no.. might as well check what these Next are.. since a proper person/you recommend it).

OT, but I miss the local tailors from back then.
They kept the best quality fabrics and sewed them at their best price as we wanted even though it cost a lot.
Their clothes came without any wear and tear even after wearing them and washing them a lot for years.
Then we got into this brand fad and the local tailors were extinguished slowly. These clothes get wear and tear even with machine wash. Sad state of affairs.
Somehow, after using (against my wish) side/front load machines and their harpic like “special” 200-250 rupees per kg “detergent”.. machine wash.. for clothes.. is like travelling with RyanAir, Spicejet.. is for humans.

As for tailored fits… most.. even i (and i, unlike you.. haven’t been able to undo 15Kgs) prefer lowers (pants) to have pleats in front. Watch pocket.. slip guard and specific points for buckles.. but.. B U double T.. except for one or two towns.. whose shops.. despite “kaarigar” (worksmen) changes.. gave top results.. most other shops loose the edge over time/ generations change.

Also, and you are lot younger than me, hamare zamaney meiN (in our time) such materialistic boom wasn’t there.. “fashion” or too much fad was not there amongst middle class/ salaried people.

Thus, it worked.
Brands exist now, because market exists.. or aspirations get “forced”
(Aspirations as in.. in both towns where our families are split.. the domestic helps have more features in then mobiles or change them frequently than us).

In such times, if @G-Gowda somehow suddenly makes used (adult) diapers the next “it” thing to be kept in living rooms.. people might buy those too.

Now? Now University of Whatsapp proudly presents overjoyed parents/elders sharing toddler’s videos jiving on Sheela ki Jawani and char litre Vodka (some song).
