Best options to buy a laptop battery

Hi Guys,

I have a HP laptop which is 5-6 years old. The battery is giving problems and I can use the laptop only using direct power supply.

I am thinking of replacing the battery. Details as under:

HP MU06 Notebook Battery

Hp DV6 3004 TU Laptop

Replace with Spare 593554-001

I found lot of options on eCom sites for the battery. However, I am confused.

Can anyone help me find a battery is reasonable price? I don’t want to spend much. Even if the battery works for a year, its fine.

If there are some good offline options as well, please tell me. I am from Mumbai.

my personal experience is these replacement batteries don’t hold even 50% power compared to ones which come with the laptop so just buy any one which is cheap enough.

idea is keep it always on charge mide while using and put it on battery only when going out with it.

don’t know the city you are from but if you meet a pc parts wholeseller locally might get a decent deal for oem battery. compare that with one from hp ( ask specifically if its oem or original).

read your previous post regarding mattress which you got assembled ..i’ll be getting a new bed (after i am done with paint work ) and will require atleast 4 mattress ..whenever you are free in coming days, drop a message etc on buying guide : /
