Bigbasket Bangalore is delivering orders in Bangalore ?

2 of my friends orders got canceled due to bandh.

asking cause then wont wait for them in home and buy from outside.

BigBasket Express deliveries were not available for my area earlier today. And the next slot for regular deliveries was showing Friday night.

Local shops in my area were closed earlier today. But some opened in the evening. I just came home after grocery shopping from a local supermarket. Stocked my pantry well just in case things get out of control again.

Bigbasket is blaming customers to cancel the order. The order cancellation mails says “As requested by you we have canceled your order”

why they are doing this ?

anybody order also cancelled same way or delivered in last 2 days ?

Hmm.. Most likely it is a default message that is added as a Remark on each cancellation, regardless of who initiated it.
Customer Care does know that it wasn’t requested by customer. But they would be helpless if the system throws up that error, and doesn’t give them an option to modify it.
